You're fucked if you're a brawler unless you keep popping toys of sparkling world. He also creates some black hole thing that does a lot of damage sometimes so you should pay attention to that.

echon takes so fucking long on the characters that actually need it

If you're a female brawler, turn off your two passives that say on (right click their icons from the arrow next to your skill bar) and only use your basic snake stance attacks + mount and ground kick. Ground kick will stun you though. Alternatively, I can run you through Reshapon twice if you want.
If they have a buffswap and you don't run hells with 100% of your fatigue every day, run GT for the pants.
Destruction wrist with the wrong stats and strife earrings with bad stats as well, other than that all incorrect armor types.

Also, only attack him when he's yellow. And you can safely ignore all of the purple shit on the ground from him, it doesn't do anything to you aside from look antagonizing.

I was thinking more about full set, not just pants.

How do pets gain exp?
I got one at the end of seria's welcome and apparently the little guy evolves at level 20

You gain pet exp by clearing rooms. The amount of exp gained is proportional to the amount of FP spent. That means you can get 8 pet exp on dungeons that spend 8FP immediately just by clearing the 1st room, but you won't get anymore after clearing the next ones. Whatever if FP Express is applied or not too, I don't know.

None of the basic pets are good. Decent package pets that give smash/stat boosts/bonus damage/skill range +'s are good and arguably, Amy is okay if you want it for Grandine, albeit unreliable. For now, just consider it eyecandy as your first pet.

Actually, Marbas is the only good one because of it's 20% party damage buff, which is very useful. The downside is it takes two minutes to charge it.

How do you guys straight up ignore the pvp part of this game? I like pvp but I totally suck at it. I want to ignore it just like you but I can't because I find it fun. But losing all the time is a real bummer and just kills me inside slowly. How do I stop pvping and focus on pve?

Realize the (((pvp))) in this game is watered down shit and if I wanted to play some real pvp I'd play an actual fighting game.

Fighting games are too hard for me and I only play dfo pvp because it's easier, even though I still suck. So I wouldn't play a fighting game anyway.
