I've gotten so much magicite from the raid drops that, as a newbie, my Siren, Ifrit and Golem are all 2* lvl 30 when I've given them blue, red and orange magicite respectively, alone. All from getting them and never using them. Pure raid magicite.

So, it doesn't really hurt you, I'd say. That magicite isn't really being used for anything else as far as I can tell.

Magicite is the only way to level up espers, which is the only use for Magicite. There's no such thing as wasting it, just misusing it.

I've bee playing for almost a year and this event really helped me into maxing the few spers I had left unmaxed

Yup, that's me. I had a cheat over you, my rank 100+ friend: my rank refilled my raid orb every single day for the past week, usually two or three times a day the first week. I was able to raid A LOT, and saw it as the #1 way to get EXP on all my units (aside from the cactuar dunes) so I played it every time I launched the game.

Plus, while the first week was mostly PRO lvl, once I figured out the mechanics well enough and my DV (then EV) could stay alive to distract Engels, I could have Noctis, Fohlen and A2 kill ELT for me much faster and easier.

yeah and it's bullshit, I dropped beyod 20k just this last couple of weeks after waking up, I just do my raids normally, they need a better ranking system

Heck, day ONE there's people with already 5 million points so yeah nah, just get some tickets and call it a day, maybe a TMR moogle

The rewards are garbage for the amount of lapis refills required to be in the uppe ranks, it's purely for e-peen stroking.

Yeah nah the ranking is bullshit, most people just play to get all the rewards from the points, the rest just to get more pulls from the raid gacha and possible tickets from the ranking

And for all the effort true whales and by that I mean bots and hackers place the top prizes are not even that great

I've used all the A2s that appeared, and I can assure you, it helped. It was fantastic to watch A2 work Engel into dust in 3 turns, all by her lonesome. I just had to keep her unparalyzed and it was zero hassle.

I miss old games like that. You had a real community there. Games like EQ and XI were great back in their prime.

No lapis orb refreshes and I didn't stress too much about being orb efficient. First raid though so I didn't know how I did relatively but I'm pretty happy since I couldn't even clear PRO on the first day. I might be able to break into 5K if I start refreshing now but I'll probably run out of landu friends after one or two refreshes
