Also the kissing animations don't align properly, the two actors bring their mouths very close but never actually connect, so they stand there awkwardly with their mouth open and a dumb smile (0sex expressions amirite)

I do wish 0sex had as many things for gameplay as sexlab since the animations have fluid transitions and stuff, but there's nothing else for it.

You can disable the animations you find bad, and they are all made by multiple people, and you can download more animations. There are definitely good sexlab animations. Besides, most people use sexlab for including sex in the gameplay, like combat rape, dialogue sex etc.

I doubt any animation mods will be advanced enough to have as accurate of alignment as you seem to consider acceptable, but the actual animations themselves are much better than anything else out there.

Yep, this is what sexlab really has going for it- the versatility. Stuff like Enhanced Spouses are neat ideas. You just kinda have to ignore the alignment and animation issues and go into full roleplay imagination blinders mode.
