I don't have to be flooded with current endgame raid content/daily chores to enjoy a game. Personally, I'm enjoying leveling other jobs, crafting, and hanging out with friends and FC mates. It's something I used to do and it's why I liked MMOs in the first place - but in other games I felt obligated to ALWAYS be doing something.
