Would it be acceptable to ride squid so I could feel those milkers on my back?

Reminder

So what youre saying is the FZ6R has a more useable powerband

Keep with finding metal in oil filter, or sell?

>yamameme
Joking aside, be careful who you sell it to

Steel or aluminum?
When was the last time the filter was changed
How long between oil changes?
How many miles on the bike?

Sure

Sometimes I watch videos of people running from the cops on their bikes, and I always see people in the comments that say it doesn't matter if a cop gets your plate numbers because they can't prove it was you riding it?

Is this bullshit? I feel like if a cop got your plates and you made it back to your house unseen, they'd just assume it was you if you never reported it stolen or anything.

I always pull over if I think they have a chance of seeing my plate

Well the bike is registered in your name so they can easily get your current address, driving record, etc.
So unless you reported it stolen BEFORE you were caught (highly unlikely because you didn't expect to get caught), you're fucked. No amount of excuses or even a good defense attorney is going to get you off the hook.

t. traffic cop that's dealt with this exact scenario before

this, find a terminally ill little girl

Posting bike while I drink coffee and enjoy lunch

Your pictures make me want to buy an Indian so bad, but my wife would kill me if I did.

Lol I fucking hate that place

Got my first bike this weekend, 2005 FZ6N.
But fucking snow in uk is ruining it for me

Sell her, get a Springfield. We all support you man.

Yea. But it's cheap noms and hotels if needed lol

Grats man

>and I always see people in the comments that say it doesn't matter if a cop gets your plate numbers because they can't prove it was you riding it?
Most of those comments come from nobike kids.

>Sorry Mr. Office, I forgot to wash my plate after the rains.

No idea haven't checked if it's magnetic, 5400 miles, 200 miles ago with filter change before this pic yesterday.

I was running really rich the other day and I think gunk might be keeping the carb from sealing gas off from the oil or whatever, so going to clean that out sometime this week. May replace clutch while I'm at it because it slipped (possibly from gas in the oil) the other day.

Otherwise, everything else is above my technical level. If it's something in the gear box I'm not fucking with it.

They have the make, model, and possibly year of the bike. Not to mention a physical description of the rider, even if it's just their gear.
They'll be looking out for you, and believe me, they take it personally when you run away.

hey guys should i buy a used fz6n s2 no abs for 4k euros? (pic related) Is it worth it for that price ? It has 11k km and looks great. That would be my first bike. Also i found a used gsr 600 for 4.4k with 7km and abs. What bike should i get?

Are you shutting the petcock off every time you finish riding or get off the bike? Cause i am pretty sure thats how my bike blew, watered down the oil with gas without realizing

Looks like steel or iron.
Likely gearbox.
Is there any terrible noises?

It sounds like marbles rattling around at times.

Take it apart and fix it. Or sell it cheap to someone who can.

But is it alright?

Nope

What would you do?

Take it apart and rebuild it.
Its not as difficult as it seems. Plus you learn a lot.
Can be done over a weekend if you have all the parts ready

wow those are some giant titties

But I don't want to, I want to ride! Can't I just pour some sort of engine additive in it or something?

Nope.

What do you ride? Im in the triangle area but I come thru that way all the time headed to the mountains

Are there any other alternatives?

Ride it till it stops working

Other than that.

Fix it

Nope

There's gotta be something else that I can do.

Your engine is eating itself, either fix or don't you fucking retard

Fix it yourself
Pay someone to fix it
Sell it with full disclosure
Or ride it till it dies

Thats all

Fuck.

Of course, every time even if just for a minute.
No noises at all, you wouldn't know anything was wrong until you took off the filter. Run it hard all the time no issue. I'll check to see if it's steel when I get home. I agree the gear box sounds like the main culprit, but there's no clear sign that anything is actually wrong until you see that buildup. First oil filter before I got the bike was never replaced and the bike was ran 2600 miles with a 10 year old filter before being sold to me. I was hoping the filter simply disintegrated into the engine (which some of it did), but debris should be less at this point, not more.
Stop trolling, you aren't me.

>make model and year
>implying a cop can tell the difference between anything with a fairing and two headlights
You could be on a Ninja 300 or a 1299 Panigale, it's all the same to them.

MILK TRUCK JUST ARRIVE.

Off by one pleb

Tell me everything that is wrong with the 2016 Kawisaki Ninja 650.

>implying most cops weren't /dbt/ and Veeky Forums incarnate when they were younger
9 out of 10 cops in my precinct were literally car and motorcycle delinquents and hobbyists while growing up.
They can tell.

To be fair though, a lot of the older generation of police officers can't, but they're thinning out quickly.

>33▶
NICE

Nothing really

It looks modern.

Ignore the dipshit.

No noises or anything, just gas leaking into the oil likely because I took it too high for too long, so it was running really rich for a good 6 hours. Otherwise the bike runs prefect right now, in theory. In practice something has to be getting eaten up in the gearbox or something is getting into the oil.

I might be retarded, but shouldn't those metal flakes be inside the filter, not out?

You missed the get, faggot.
Just quoting to know who it was.
Laura Katz is unbelievable.

Also, no metal when I drain the oil, just by the filter.

>but shouldn't those metal flakes be inside the filter, not out?
No, they're supposed to drain into the pleats.

Also running rich wouldn't internally shave up your engine like that.

Running lean could cause damage if parts got too hot to oil properly.
Would be pretty noticeable though

Oh no, that's just the reason I need I clean the carb, because gas is leaking into the oil.

The oil probably wasn't getting good pressure when I first got it, he filled the oil with like 3 liters until it overflowed. It only holds 1 liter.

>he filled the oil with like 3 liters until it overflowed. It only holds 1 liter.
It's fucked.
There's probably hairline fractures inside the engine on parts you can't just swap out.

>Black bike
>Black gear
>Black at night
>My soul is black
>Black Kaffers knowing anything about bikes
Night Rider coming through.

If it's definitely fucked I'll just save up for a few months and get a new bike, likely a road bike this time. Until then I'll just run it to shit. I'll try to fix the gas leaking into oil issue until then. Maybe I can get it to last a good 3 months.

Overfilled Oil = Blown Gaskets
Loss of oil pressure probably tore up the inside.

So run it dead then? I can't sell it in good conscious, even trading it in to a dealer isn't ideal.

>Absolute state of Yamashi
Don't buy chink shit next time

There should be a law requiring those scooters to have non-movable arm rests.

Here's a shit pic from this weekend.

Any other dual sport guys in the Phoenix area? I'm still finding good places to ride around here.

Stop posting about it until you actually open up the engine and have a picture to post showing where the metal is coming from.

This is like the fifth thread you've asked about this.

That's like 4-5 hours worth of work, I wanted every diagnosis possible before I go through with it so I know what to look for. I'm not a mechanic, this shit has to be done with hand tools for the most part.

>Sometimes I watch videos of people running from the cops on their bikes
the thing that amazes me is that they can upload these videos online seemingly without any fear of prosecution. Some very popular american motovloggers who clearly aren't hiding their identities regularly upload videos of themselves riding crazy speeds and doing mad wheelies.
Here in the UK many people have been prosecuted for uploading videos just of speeding or wheelies.
It's like grade A evidence in court. Easy conviction. basically caught red handed.
How come american police don't give a fuck? Not tech savvy?

It's a motorcycle, dude. You can access most of the engine without removing it from the bike, and if you need to remove the engine it requires two hands and a bottle of DYEL.

Honestly, Euros can`t handle the bants and Americans Cops will only investigate something of someone is making a noise about it.

Pretty sure all you have to do is blank out the speedometer because they can't prove your speed just from the surroundings.

Still a lot of effort if I have no idea what to look for, which is why I asked.

But surely cops can't charge you with anything if they never get your plates. Who's to say you aren't just some guy that owns the same bike as a guy who ran recently?

Besides, if they don't get your plates, they won't have any other info on you. And you're an idiot if you run and then keep riding around after you lose them.

You shouldn't ride that bike for like another 2 weeks if you've ran from the cops on it.

Dear /dbt/
Tomorrow I'm buying myself a bike and I'm really torn between two used hondas displayed at a dealer nearby. First one is a cheap 2006 hornet (599 in the usa), 2000 euros, 40k km, the bike has been dropped on both sides, standing still. Everything else seemed fine, the engine was smooth, the clutch and gears too. The other bike is pic related. It's the nc700x with dct, 2012, 39k km on this one, 3850 euros. Never been dropped, it looks gorgeous. I like the idea of it being a bit more comfortable for longer trips, yet I feel a bit uncomfortable with it not having the clutch. Do I lose control? What do you guys think? What would you buy?

Even with how quick you passed him I'd still be paranoid of him catching a good view of my plate with his dashcam.

Ridiculous prices for the milage

\/ - see
Only the brand new Traffic Police cars have dash cams. That was a SAPS Hilux. This is a bury picture, but it was when I had a street race with a Flying Squad Audi A4. We reved at each other at the lights and that was that. We were both over 200kph on 60kph roads.

"No officer, that's not me. That's just a video of the same model bike as mine I found while searching through videos. I can't remember where I found it."

That and cops really aren't interested in combing through youtube videos on the off chance that they were filmed not only in their state, but also their jurisdiction.

Italian cops just made a special division for exactly that after the maxwrist debacle and a kid dying after a police chase

What debacle?

You don't know maxwrist?
Was an us army expat who did quite frankly boring videos about challenging old dudes in exotic cars on alpine passes
Weapon grade autism was deployed to identify him and someone told on him of the italian police
He's now been incarcerated and disonourably discharged

I've seen some of his videos and to be fair he does ride pretty recklessly in regards to other people. He crosses double lines all the time and almost has collisions in every video I've seen of him.

You'd think he'd be a little smarter with his anonymity if he's basically posting evidence against himself.

Anyone else going for a comfy after-work ride around the back streets of town? I think I'll go to the airport again and watch planes for a bit.

lol. did he get arrested?
i reported him to italian police like a year ago when his channel first blew up.
i managed to figure out he was US army serviceman and what base he was stationed at.
I did recently notice he had some videos where he is back in the US on a shitbike.

Here's the thing tho
The only really illegal thing about his videos was the racing and speeding
You are technically allowed to pass on a double in Italy (on a bike)

kys shiv you fucking autist

>because they can't prove your speed just from the surroundings
of course they fucking can.
prosecution will bring in video experts etc and they'll determine your exact speed pretty easily.
this has already happened. some lad who was uploading motovlogs in london, quasimoto or someshit he was called. this is exactly what he was doing, blurring his speedo. ended up getting prison time.

Come say that to my face u scrub
I'll fockin deck ya

I thought maxwrist was a compilation of riders or just videos like moto madness, I didn't know it was one rider.

I post a short story and a question for /dbt/

My parents live in New Jersey and are moving to Paris. My dad owns a '04 BMW K1200RS. My dad is basically giving me his bike. All I'm paying is the shipping cost. I live in Arizona.
Short story ended.
Question:
Can people recommend a shipping company to get the bike out here?
Before you say fly out there and ride it back, it's been ridden once in about a year and a half so I'm unsure of what kind of work it needs, plus it's 4 13+ hour riding days(something I'd rather not do).

tl;dr
I'm basically getting a free bike and need to ship it across the US. Any recommendations on shipping companies?

That's what he said to cover his ass
The channel is handled by a third person: an "editor" who claims to have nothing to do with the actual footage

Maybe in bongistan
In Italy a "peace judge" (giudice di pace) will not accept video evidence as speeding unless evident beyond reasonable doubt

it was so easy to dox him.
he had shit on his instagram about being US army, plus the roads he was riding in italy, there was only one US Army base nearby.

Unfortunately prices here are really high, but these come with 12 months warranty, the only cheaper hornet I've found it's a 1700 one with more than 60k km, and no warranty

that's because you have a third world justice system, friendo

big boob porn on the internet ruined big tits for me through overexposure and veiny fatsos, and now i'm not interested in them at all, so people think i'm a fag or a closet pedo.

likewise, i used to think dirtbikes were cool but /dbt/'s gayposters and boring webms ruined that pretty thoroughly, so now i just ride a sportbike with chicken strips and look like a poser.
