So I've been playing Warriors All Stars and Wang Yuanji's bio specifcally namedrops Wang Su. Now I'm pretty sure the target audience of Warriors All Stars aren't Three Kingdoms fanatics who would care about this detail, so it seems weird to have in the game. DW7 had quite a few clones though. It's just that it brought back (almost) everyone.

DW6 managed to cut quite a few characters while also having clones among the remaining ones.

Meng Huo's probably the third lowest (after Zuo Ci and N/A), but he's still enough of a silly likable guy to not be Zuo Ci-tier.

I honestly don't get why people are so pissy about a weapon change. Knowing Koei they could have cut Zhang He too. Would that be better? In my opinion, no, it wouldn't.

Regardless whether or not clones or whatever were necessary, the fact is that Zhang He's weapon IS his claws, period. If they needed to cut someone's weapon, cut someone's who isn't so ingrained to the character, or something.
