AC pastebin: pastebin.com/z1bJS9gF Read that if you have any questions. If the pastebin doesn't answer whatever question you may have feel free to ask us in the thread.
No, but we might as well put all of our eggs in this basket.

Because I have a dream goddamnit That armored core would be revered as not a dead ip but a revered one That there is a possibility of people seeing an AC or a NEXT and know where it's from Instead of saying something stupid like fucking transformers That people accept my lord and savior nineball as their lord and saviour
And that less people will think of /acg/ as a dead thread
But a living one

He was a rogue A.I that was preventing humanity's growth.
As badass as he is was he most definitely was not good

>preventing humanity's growth. >humanity's growth. >trying to keep humanity on a level good enough that would allow having a nice life with a decent level of technology, rather than risking another great destruction
He was our savior.

If this happens, imagine the memes, waifufaggotry, ""funny"" streamers of the game, the haters and hipster, all the clones that will try to ride on the success of AC and the shitposters flowing any AC centric thread or place of the internet
on the good side, we may get some nice fanarts and fan remixes.
Hudson Lee
True But im not wanting it too be dark souls COD or battlefield popular just well known And besides No fandom or community I've ever seen got away from bad eggs Even small ones

On the one hand I want to ask about design contest. On the other, I'm not sure we should try until we've shown we can keep it up long enough to support that. >good remixes All worth it in the end. Nowhere near enough AC remixes. Better believe we love tanks even if we only ever had, like, three people who could actually use fifth gen tanks.
Cameron Harris
To everyone who's in Texas, my prayers are with you. Stay strong, and equip a hover leg AC just incase.
Charles Reyes
What's up with Texas?
Kayden Watson
Very slow moving hurricane, it's pretty horrible along the coast. Big swaths of the state are getting a lot of rain and storms, but it's really just the Gulf coast that's getting pounded. Houston, Galvestone, South Padre Island, Corpus Christi, and a bunch of tiny towns that only matter to the people who live in them.

How do I get into Armored Core 2? I loved the PS1 trilogy and AC4/FA but I could not for the life of me get into AC2, haven't even touched AC3 yet as it looks pretty much the same.
Am I doing something wrong? I'm using energy weapons with a backup gatling gun and it takes me at most 2 tries to beat a mission but always by the skin of my teeth - it just feels so clunky and difficult compared to the PS1 and I don't know why.
Jackson Murphy
Any group or artist on mind for those remixes?
Levi James
Use high damage weapons like bazookas and moonlight and it should go by easier.
Anthony White
Also, learn how to boost hop to move around quickly.

Alright, I'll boot it up again and give it another shot. Hopefully I don't lose to many creds to bazooka rockets.
Also, I feel like the variety in mechs isn't as apparent as in the PSX games. Am I just not trying hard enough?

Don't use the default controls. Learn what every stat does.
AC4/FA is very hand-holding and are the easiest games in the franchise. They give you way more energy and speed than you need, whereas every other franchise has you manage those resources carefully in every mission. AC4/FA holds your hand by making it so you don't really have to change your build between missions or manage your cash, and default controls are fine.
Just expect everything to be super hard and confusing until you sit down and spend time in menus preparing for it. You should have to customize between EVERY mission and spend more time in the garage than in battle.
Dylan Mitchell
>Also, I feel like the variety in mechs isn't as apparent as in the PSX games. Am I just not trying hard enough? I'd say they have more variety, but they take longer to unlock.

What piece of OST is the most important for you guys? battle music? garage? final boss or credits?
Landon Jackson
Funfact, hover AC legs can sink in water if you go idle for long enough. I found that out while playing AC2AA.
Ethan Murphy
>AC4/FA is very hand-holding and are the easiest games in the franchise. >AC1 exists
Lincoln Morales
Garage music.
It's what I'll be spending most of my time listening to, anyway.
Runner up is for cutscene music.
Carson Allen
AC1 's clunky platforming is alone harder than anything in AC4/FA. Occupation of Arteria Carpals included.
Also try AC1 without the karasawa
Luis Sullivan
I never used the Karasawa in AC1 though, and the only remotely hard part was the infinite labyrinth of floating boxes before running into nineball.
Kevin Bell
1. Garage, I am spending a lot of time there so it has to be good 2. Intro, kinda sets the tone of the game for me
Joshua Fisher
Final boss for me because it's what becomes the most memorable part of a game for me like the AC3 final fight when Administrator starts playing. I cream my pants every time.
Ryan Lee
>Intro, kinda sets the tone of the game for me
