Max daily limit isn't that bad, since you've got all the previous islands to run and spend starfish on too.

But yeah, still good to get them out of the way early instead of putting it off until the end.

Chinese as a language just sounds horribly bad to listen to, same for Korean. Its not preferring JP for being a weeb but more like CN/KR are horrible to listen to.

Kind of puts you in a horrible spot for games like King's raid where your choices are Korean voices and English voices.

In the 3rd game, the cheekiness of Kiana is better done in Chinese than in Japanese, I feel. Basically, this might be that chinese girls are generally cheekier than Japanese ones. I dont know.

On the other CN/KR are horrible fucking languages that sound aggressively harsh for even the simplest of phrases.

Yeah, the only option is to turn off voices if those are the only choices unless the English dub turns out to be half decent.

Yeah that's exactly why the industry is bad. Its all people in their 30's that found the one thing that lets them make mad dosh for just reading things out loud since English dubs have zero standards at all.

So you end up with people that don't really care about what they're doing, women in their 30's reading lines for 12-14 year old girls in Japanese games with the most monotonous voice you can imagine and its so bad.

The worst part isnt the quality of the dubs but how they're shoved down your throat with dub-only games and shit like this.

I know there are career in VAs in North America and there are decent ones too but those are mostly reserved for big budget animated films or games. Mobages english voices usually sounds like they are bored and can't give enough fuck.

A good chunk of the ones in video game and anime dubs are career VAs too, it's just the industry has such low standards that they can make a living despite having zero acting skill.

I remember the old ps2 game Radiata Story have a nice dub, i especially like the voice of the fat old man in blue armor.

Then you have forced dubs for Japanese stuff or random TV shows and the VAs sound like they're bored out of their minds and want to get over it quickly.

I think its because the people doing it really enjoy what they're doing, like they really get into it and feel passionate about it.

Chinese, like any other language (except german which is sound shit north AND south) on the world, sound pretty fucking dirty once you get into the southern parts.

Both korean and chinese sound like gibberish ching chong with many sounds I cant begin to comprehend. I don't really understand Japanese but if I listen to a word, I can understand the sounds that person is making and be able to point out the syllables they used.
