Spring is almost here, so I have to begin looking for all the late night car enthusiast meeting spots. When the weather gets warmer and stops raining all the time, the groups start to gather at parking places that also have a late night store/restaurant open.

I live in the East Bay area and I often just wander around. This is a bridge about 15 miles away.

I hate living in the city of LA.

imo, driving late nights in LA has its own certain enjoyable aesthetic. I use to drive late nights between the Valley and OC a lot a few years ago and it has been some of my favorite drives.

It's probably changed now with all that fucking new construction rerouting everyone around after 11pm though.

Went up to a parking spot with a lookout that you can see most of the city from. Hadn't been up there in years so was great to go back. Felt a bit weird going up there with my mate and walking around because we amongst the few up there not having sex.

Have no pics of night drives with my car cause my phone with them all recently blew up. But here's a evening shot of my bike.
Last drive I went on a few days ago was comfy, was listening to some daft punk. Most notably make love and veridis quo were very relaxing driving songs. A lot of "human after all" was quite fun to drive around too also.

Not remotely recent, but I finally managed to save up and replace my brakes, so I'll be doing more driving soon. Obv some synthwave/outrun music, and some vaporwave for when not being aggressive. Carpenter Brut is nice for carving corners

>Able to sleep peacefully

Successful night drive

>straight shot down the expressway from my house
>30 mile drive
>do 100mph+ the entire way home at night
>road totally empty

Not to mention I filled up my tank while I was out there, 30 cents less a gallon than in my home county. Very comfy.
