Hey guys, not X-Com but I figured people here would know.
After about 8 years I've started playing Jagged Alliance 1.13 again and it is kicking my ass. I don't remember it being this difficult. I keep trying different combinations of mercs and getting my ass kicked about halfway through Drassen. On my last attempt I disabled New CTH and was doing a little bit better, and tried going in to the middle tile of Drassen at night with militia backup, but the soldiers threw a flare at me and then mortared me, killing Ira and my Imp instantly. I'm only playing on Experienced difficulty level. Has the difficulty in 1.13 been ramped up since 8 years ago or something? I don't see how you're supposed to be able to deal with so many soldiers unless you rent a squad of top mercs for 1 day.
