What went wrong?
What went wrong?
instead of making simple cars that worked they overcomplicated the shit
Bean counters chose vehicle design and CVT focus.
a. they stopped producing their flagship car
b. everything since has been trash
their "flagship car" wasn't bringing enough payroll money and in fact it was costing them more money to produce it
Would have been cool to see them develop an all wheel drive system for Honda in the 90's.
Imagine how the civic would have turned out if they had given it a chance at a larger variety of motorsport.
Also would have been fucking dope to see the Prelude get a second chance with proper 4WS and good AWD before the line was kill.
Nothing went wrong.
They make reliable, cheap, utilitarian vehicles without all the fluff.
What went wrong is that they don't take advantage of this and offer commercial vehicles such as trucks and cargo vans. They also do not offer diesel engines which could further set them apart.
they offered a zero down, zero apr and zero payment for 12 months back in the early 2000’ish and well *wipes sweat from brow* nigs gonna nig so naturally people abused it, defaulted, mitsu got stuck with a bunch of used and often beat to shit cars at the cusp of the recession anddddd this kills the company
tl;dr
degenerate poor people with no sense of forward thinking will fuck you over
>simple cars that work
here you go
>What went wrong is that they don't take advantage of this and offer commercial vehicles such as trucks and cargo vans
They do, they make light duty 4wd's and have an entire company dedicated to trucks called Fuso.
>They also do not offer diesel engines which could further set them apart.
They do and their recent line of 4M diesels were some of the best light duty diesels on the market.
honestly, I don't know. does the new eclipse cross even have the same type of s-awd as evo x had? or is it some dumbed down version? quick googling doesn't give up any answers
Literally nothing
Pic related car of the year the next four years
Renault own them, it's going to be alright.
GTO was the GTR of that era
It's more profitable for them to sell trucks and shitboxes in developing economies than it is to sell EVOs to Bros in one of the most competitive car markets on the planet.
They stopped making Zeros and Subaru's Ki-43-III outperformed it
Kek
Everything after 1998 was a mistake except the EVO.
press F to pay respects
Nissan wouldnt be such a shitshow right now if they wouldnt be such jews when it came to interior materials.
Seriously, I got a 10 year old Audi and the interior is flawless save for a couple scratches near the cupholder. Mind you this car has seen some shit.
I bought a 2013 Nissan Murano, interior is DESTROYED after light usage.
they made lots of very ugly uncool cars
Instead of making hoonmobiles to remind everyone that they existed, they started making cheap, but below average crossovers.
