that's good. I remember he used to badmouth the game a bit on stream based on his impressions from Vanilla, so glad he finally gave it another try.
he'll still probably have more fun playing it casually though, unless he's willing to practice, but that's fine. playing with friends is how you have fun with any fighter after all.

that's true. his format for jumping into the game really wasn't the best. he and dan just needed to go nuts.
Vanilla was definitely a big part of it though. over the years when people asked him about Skullgirls I'd hear him say stuff like >"Ohh no thanks, I don't want to get combo'd for the rest of the night" or something similar,
and even though his feelings were justified (cause vanilla was whack) it's a bummer that he'd still share it with thousands of people for years based on a vastly outdated build of the game.

yeah it bugged me too, but the version he played was pre-undizzy, maybe even pre-IPS fix, and the combos really did last forever on one touch.
now that he's spent years playing marvel 3 and other combo heavy games though, he might react to modern skullgirls combos the same way persia does. pretty much unphased
Yeah but we already knew that. Mobile characters don't need as many frames as the main game.
I'll just be happy to see more new characters brought to life in some form.

Can you imagine Umbrella's story mode if she finally does ever get put in the game? They'd have to write scenarios where the cast actively picks fights with a ten year old kid. That's funny.
You know what's great about Double? The fact that despite being initially played off as an emotionless and inhuman monster that's isolated from humans, it quickly becomes apparent that she knows literally everyone in the game on a nearly personal level.

all of the taunts do something, but they're really only something significant for the DLC character taunts.
