bump for assmad

Think again buddy

*outlasts your jap crap*

Over 15 yrs old, over 150k, no issues, and the paint still looks good

>Vehicle basically hasn't changed since 2007

That's true, it's been offered *almost* unchanged save for the grille and a few features, since 2007.
I guess it is the longest lasting?
Just not in the way you think it is.

*Not even top 20*

Can't tow anything heavy.

>derge durango
fucking how? well, maybe they don't account for repairs but it seems odd that someone would keep driving the same car for 200k miles if it needs replacement parts every 20 or 30k miles.

Sure it can homo
>150k miles
Oh so the breaking in miles on a Toyota
The worst of any truck brands you could buy

...Getting groceries and driving the kids to soccer practice. Gee what a tough life.

That's not a dodge.

A Chevy 3500 can tow twice as much.

>one ton truck can tow twice as much as a midsize

Yeah nigger and a 18 wheeler can tow twice as much as a 3500, the 3500 isn't even in the same class as a tundra

>when your 23 year old gmc 1500 lasts 520,000 miles on the original engine and tows just as much as a brand new tundra

Taco's and Tundra's are even more mall-crawley than the king of mall crawlers, The half ton Dodge.

>my truck is a pigfat piece of shit that's the size of a one ton but can't even tow 10k lbs.

Are you going to defend your 2 frame swaps too?

Has no come back on nice paint because toyo paint is orange peel crap.

>When Dodge hasn't sold trucks since 2011
>"I know trucks guys, just not who sells them in the year 2018, I know my stuff"

But,
>Are you going to defend your 2 frame swaps too?

Hits a trucklet right in the sensitives and proves he's mostly, pretty based

Why american love pickup that much? It's huge, waste a lot of gaz, cost a lot of money and not really comfortable.

...

A brand new RAM is still a fucking Dodge. It's just been branded under a new name. Buy one and you'll be replacing ball joints and transmissions like it's a Dodge. Call it a RAM all you want. Or do you think it's a Fiat?

This x2

I'm serious. I know your road are big but shit, and you have lot of place to park, but do you need a pickup that much?

nytimes.com/2018/02/15/automobiles/wheels/luxury-trucks-suv.html

It's not just Americans, yuros arent buying as many cars either

Space is a luxury, I thought our yurofriends would understand this more.

We don't need them but they're nice to have, Like a 8 inch dick. They're comfy and fun to drive and you can get one with a V8 for the price of a fully loaded Accord.

Your prejudice is showing.
If RAM was as bad as you desprately need it to be to justify your feefees, it would be DEAD LAST far and away by 3 times the standard deviation, every year to live up to your shitpost.
They aren't.

Additionally, we had a dodge/ram tech run a thread. When people come in it's, more times than not, a trim tape issue.
The engines and the ZF Trans (found in many high end vehicle, but I'm sure you knew that, mr. authority) is pretty damn good.

>Your buddy knows a guy that one time

Just stop man. In 2018 the makers are all capable of putting out a quality car, even the once lowly kia. Some models worse than others, some options a tradeoff from others, but
>HUUUUUURRRRRR DODDDDDDDDGE

Outing yourself as a fanboy and nothing else.

So it's the space and the "power" then. Ok i get it.
Thats perhaps why SUV are becoming a thing in europe.
Though, personnaly i hate the "truck sit" position.

>150k miles
Come back when you have a million miles on the original engine and transmission without a rebuild.

10,000lb towing capacity and the only company that uses a standardized towing capacity test instead of inventing magical numbers based on hopes and dreams

The space of an SUV, the utility of a bed.
The big burger trucks, and generally across the brands too, in the much-mocked 1/2ton "mall crawler" class? They're comfortable.

They're comfortable, powerful, reliable, safe in accidents, sit up high and can see a good view of the road and cars in front of you.
It's a big comfortable gaming chair, riding on a 4x4 for shitty weather (which happens a bit) or offroad fun.

It has a bed for the dirty ass cargo - or a mobile picnic area if kept clean, it can tow trailers. Seat 5-6 comfortably. Looks good aesthetically (and yes that matters), sounds good too (unless displacelet).

They've got a lot of utility!
We're a nation built on self-reliance, taking it all home in one shot vs having it delivered. We have a whole lot of roadway in this big spreadout nation, and this vehicle is as murican as apple pie

Guarantee the f250s and chevy 2500's are diesels that people still think they can sell for $20k

Diesel? Because otherwise any gas 1500 from 23 years ago had a max towing rating of about 5400 lbs and was sketchy as fuck to drive if you got anywhere near that number.

And we're back, High, burgers here, welcome to the 90s.

Truck sit is pretty nice really, you can see around traffic better. And you have bucket seats, so you can do whatever with them.
I would consider a ram truck. My boss has one, and it rides better than his Yukon. The glass transmission issues were only there for a few years anyway.

Pretty sure they're all on the SAE J2807 deal now.
IIRC toyota and Ram were first, followed by chebby, Ford AFTER the vehicle shed several hundred lbs..

>The shitty transmission issues were for a few years

Yes, 2001-2003 was a rough time. It's why the "longest lasting" claim Ram has, IIRC is 2003 on.
That's a clue.

They are not the brand the dickriders of the other brands want desperately to believe.

If you like the other brands offerings better, hey cool. To pretend that there is some sort of yuge quality gap? Sillyness.

Tundra isn't available in 25000 or 3500.

So why would I get one?

>4 radiators, 3 gas tanks, 5 transmissions, and 6 water pumps

The Tundra had one alternator replacement and had to have a reverse solenoid replaced on the transmission. That's it. Tundra engineers said the engine was worn so little that it still met new engine tolerances (which are in the 1000s of an inch).

Doesn't really matter that your engine is reliable when every single accessory attached to it is garbage.

>No other vehicle's gone 1 million miles
"cheatsheet.com/automobiles/going-the-distance-7-cars-that-have-gone-1m-miles.html/?a=viewall"

>That one Tundra did 1 million miles, therefore they'll all do it

That is a domestic pickup you nugget
Only america has pickups so stupidly large
The rest of the world use the much better hilux or landcruiser

I own one of them 350 k1500s and it definitely didn't outlast grandpa's tundra (by that I'm referring to an engine swap being required, it's got another 350 in it now)

How many miles..? And what year?

TIL The landcruiser is a pickup
TIL american's don't have the landcruiser

How did this Jersey plate get on this landcruiser?
Must have been a special import job.
Or maybe New Jersey is in germany?

10w-30, truck officially never seen a bit of winter it's whole life

>Million mile trucks

Those are road vehicles.

They are replacing frames on tocos and tundras in Buffalo NY. Worst I’ve seen on a domestic truck around here is having to replace leaf spring mounts.

>Never Saw winter,
Well I guess because it had some atypical driving characteristics, therefore -

>Chad Tundra driven almost exclusively on the highway
>"That counts because, Muh perfect sample is admissible, cause reasons"

trucktrend.com/features/1602-the-million-mile-2007-toyota-tundra/

>Reverse went out
>Muh original transmission, just oil changes

HA!

>But mahhhhhhhhhhhh toyota resaaaale

>Americans don't have Land Cruisers

More like Americans won't buy Land Cruisers because $85,000 for a Toyota gets you the Lexus equivalent, Loaded BMW X5/Audi Q7, Mercedes S-Class, or a Cadillac Escalade.

...

"land cruiser"
he's referring to the 70 series which is unbreakable and has been in production since the 80's

>think they can sell for 20k
Nigga they do. I see LIFTED DEEZUL trucks from two decades ago sell for 25k here in fucking Austin Texas.

>no diesel option
>current year
>not taking advantage of a non-existent EPA

Not fun to have. More prone to peryionies disease. Worse, if you are a victim of today's hypersexual society, you probably had a masturbation and porn habit and this will cause nerve damage sooner or later. The cavernous nerves become chronically inflamed and the organ stops fully contracting. The "shower" vs "grower" charge is false-- the default state is a grower and the aforementioned nerve damage and buildup of scar tissue cause the "shower". The organ also become more sensitive once it has lost the ability to contract, meaning if you wear jeans or anything too tight, the friction can arouse you. This causes you to lose focus and cowpers fluid will leak. Worse still, the organ is prone to damage when not fully contracted. Fractures can happen more easily. If damaged and peryionies is present, a large size will turn inward toward one of the legs, contacting it when sitting or walking.
More than half of men have this problem. The larger the organ, the more noticeable.
I hate the ravages of this hypersexual society.

I respect the 70 series, even as a burger who likes mm'fullsize trucks.

I like things that are well executed, the 70 series is in that box.

When will Toyota put a hino diesel in their trucks I might consider buying a tundra if it had a diesel

First gen unmolested Cummins sell around 15-20 in Midwest regardless of miles

He said pickup not half a school bus with a medium sized swimming pool on the back.
