I think you're underestimating how much it costs, roughly five fireballs worth. The damage is less than two fireballs, around an incinerate. Thinking about it that way, it's really only good if you're trying to burst down someone super fast and don't care about mana, or if the 25% bonus fire damage for 45 seconds will recoup the magicka cost. Alternatively, it restores a flat 25 magicka on hit if it's noontime, so depending on your destruction cost multipliers, you can recoup a large percentage of the cost if you manage to hit like 8 enemies with the AoE.

Oh I misread the first post, for some reason assumed the damage was massive too (haven't played the older ES games in a while) but that sounds a lot better. High mana cost for an AOE Debuff, I like the concept of grouping enemies together to refund mana too

Some day this broad will look into the camera. Some day.
What do you mean? Because of how different it is? Just shrug off your establish idea of how the game should be and do your best to play through the main story. It gets good and you'll soon be engrossed just by trying to get from one place to another. The environments are great.

Is that a pose causing the green lights to spin around you or is it a spell?
Don't get me wrong I like the approach at more human looking Khajit, but the fur just around the cheeks makes it look like she has a beard, mutton chops or sideburns. kinda looks like a neckbeard, solid 9/10 otherwise though

This probably isn't the best image to use, but it's old and unused. Her name is Aello. Full name is Aello Core Nicholla. Haven't fully decided on a nickname she would earn during her pilgrimage.
I thought that was going to end up like Piccolo's Hellzone Grenade. Does it have a slight gravity effect? Something that pulls you in before detonation?
I nearly mastered Alteration. I got it back to 100 after making it legendary. I'm just missing a spell or two. I might go for Illusion next.

Don't get me wrong, there are some pretty fucking insane damage values in here. This one is a 440 base (about 4 firestorms) unmitigateable value, but takes a shitload of specific buff stacking and juggling to excecute, alongside a assload of magicka.
I think big explosions and whatnot should be a part of the game, but if you make it too easy to execute then where's the fun? It loses its spectacle if you cast nothing but the strongest spell. So I like gating them behind strange rituals and complicated spell sequences, like these things, so when they come out you feel almost proud of yourself.
>Does it have a slight gravity effect? Something that pulls you in before detonation? I was considering it, but decided to drop that. There's other gravity spells in the mod. If you want to keep someone in the AoE, you have to be more clever.
The damage actually affects the player as well, and it's pretty steep. So the question is how do you keep enemies around the sun, taking DoT, while staying the fuck away yourself? Gravity spells, frost spells to slow them, maybe you cast an alteration spell that turns the ground to mud. Maybe you cast a fury spell and toss this on top of a bunch of people fighting.
Grayson Sullivan
I like your style here, combining different spells together to artificially increase casting time at the reward of huge potential.
Pulling people in with some sword of gravity spell, throw a freeze ward under them, fire debuff spell then drop a meteor from the sky straight dinosaur apocalypse those fools

A cool, if mana-hungry, combo I found while working is this. Drop the Sun, then land a hailstorm. In Enai's Apocalypse, which everyone uses, there's a frost spell called fracture, that staggers an opponent when they're hit with another frost spell. Usually it's a garbage spell, but if you combine it with hailstorm you can essentially stunlock a dragon, or anything really big, because their giant hitboxes means they'll constantly be hit by the hail.
Now, the dragon has to eat your frosty icicles while also being cooked by the sun. Of course, this a very magicka-intensive combo, and it has to be cast simultaneously, since the dragon can just fly away otherwise, so it's not the MOST practical. But damn, if it isn't fun with tgm on.
Jackson Smith

I like to think of it more like looking at the viewer
In a lot of your pics it looks like she should be looking at the camera, but is always just a bit off. It might be partially due to Kaarina's eyes being slightly different shapes (left eye appears a tad wider than the right.)
Joshua Butler
That's both hilarious and awesome.
Have you made any mods for Skyrim?
Ryder Butler
>I like to think of it more like looking at the viewer Interesting, not the person you're talking to but I see your point here
Have you tried out copying out some of Dark Souls' magic? For example, Black Flame with its black and white particles and the projectiles that slowly fly toward the target once they're set above the caster? (One of Lothric, Younger Prince's magic spells)
Eli Campbell
>I like to think of it more like looking at the viewer True, but I can't get the thought of it being a camera out of my mind. I tend toward more candid scenarios. >left eye appears a tad wider than the right Asymmetry? On MY waifu? Fuck please no. Thankfully I can't see it so it's not going to bother me.
Mason Ramirez
Used to do mostly Fallout, done some pretty popular stuff for FO4, this is my first Skyrim mod, which is going to be a several-hundred count spell package, designed with mini-bosses and quests to unlock them, along with some being available at vendors. Still, it's taking quite a while, I'm only 50% done... With the destruction spells. Once I finish those, at least, I'll release a miniature version for you guys to playtest, if you'd like.
That meteor spell is very difficult to actually get off. You have to cast a spell called invocation, which generates one of ten different spells based on the elements of your next three spell casts. so you have to cast invocation, chain it perfectly, cast invocation again, and then you get a big-ass meteor.
But damn, is that satisfying to get off.
Thanks. I think I know how I did them. I will place similar spells into my own mod.
Any ideas for what they should do?

Is SPERG really better than Skyre? SPERG is nice and all, but some things like the Pickpocket/Lockpicking combat buffs seem unnecessary. Also like half the perks are proc shit.
Zachary Young
>Have you tried out copying out some of Dark Souls' magic?
First thing I did, actually. It's what inspired this mod in the first place. My set of lightning spears were the first thing I finished.
Sadly, black flame will ever get made and homing spells are either impossible or really not worth it. I will try to get some form of affinity in, though. Because I do love that spell. Stuff like power within, Iron flesh, or Chaos storm though? All WIP. Hell, check the last post. Great chaos fireball is already done.
I'm going for a lot more utility tools in destruction, and conversely making illusion and alteration more aggressive. For Alteration, for example, you can enchant your weapon to animate it, causing it to fight on its own. You can enchant the enemy's weapon to make it attack its owner, too. And there's spells that, for example, cause stony pillars to rise out of the ground, damaging enemies and knocking them away - Although it only works IF you cast it on a stone surface. Also spellsword stuff. Generally, Alteration's goal is to make very situational offensive magic. If you're in a snowfield, that stone pillar spell is not going to be useful.
Illusion is similar, but with a focus on bending light and rather than add more stuff, add stuff that facilitates vanilla spells or other mods. Fury spells are nice, too bad they don't work on dragons. But what if there was a illusion spell that removed creature type from a target, meaning you can use your fear spells on anything? Or an illusion spell that reduced a target's level? Not only would that reduce their stats, it'd make them super vulnerable to certain mind control spells. Or hell, since illusion is all about light, I'm going to throw in some lasers too.
But after destruction, I'll do Conjuration first. I already have some spells done there, and I have this idea for a master level spell that summons a functioning Oblivion Gate.
Angel Price
That said, if you want to test this shit, leave some sort of contact information so I can send the beta versions out. It's really hard to keep track of shit on /tesg/ alone. Discord, email, whatever. I don't care. I'll definitely dump it here, but sometimes people are just busy fapping to waifus and no one notices. Or cares.
Parker Watson
Everything is better than SkyRE. Who the fuck is even still using SkyRE anyways? Still using Claralux, UFO, and RCRN? I wonder if SkyRE is compatible with Tytanis?

I'll try it out if you want.

yeah I have but some of the stuff is kinda OP as hell. If it was more balanced then it would still be in my mod list
That said I don't think it's anywhere near being playable, let alone finished.
Connor Watson
Sweet.
I'll try it out when I can. I'll be free tomorrow since I called Monday off so I should be able to test it out.
Caleb Phillips
My question was less "should I use Skyre or SPERG" and more "how the hell am I any better off using this shit instead" >dude procs lmao >dude torch fighting lmao >crafting skills are STILL boring as sin and full of shitty stat crafting effectiveness filler perks >bullettime faggotry to top it all off Blatant powercreep aside, SPERG is hardly any better than vanilla unless you WANT to arbitrarily be leveling non-combat skills for their combat bonuses.
Colton Barnes
Hand her over
Leo Brooks
>that image set on honey's tumblr Thank goodness she finally put that mistake to rest. Only bad thing is that Erowen looks sad about it.
Adrian Green
Colorful isn't the most lore-friendly thing, it can be a bit script intensive, and it's not balanced in the slightest. I'm not a fan, though I do admire the work and I'm reverse engineering plenty of it. I think it's cooler as a demo of what can be done in the engine, than actually played with.
Plus, maybe it's just me, but the names are really stupid. At least give it SOME semblance of being lore-friendly. Kamehameha? Really? I'll probably reverse engineer that one and give it a more relevant name. Like, I dunno, Shalidor's Turtle Wave or some shit.
Oh yeah, messagebox is full. Gimme a sec.
Luke Gray
Yeah I think I use like 5% of the colorful magic spells. There's just a few of them I can't live with out. The weapon enchants, wind walk, slow time and a few of the creative restoration/destruction spells are nice
Definitely don't fuck with the "any enemy die" or "kamehameha" spells, think those are in there more for fucking around than actual gameplay

Where is it?
At least it's better than I dunno, I think at some point you go too far, you know? There's more charm to realistic bodies than boxom shit from meet and fuck games. I think, at that point, you can barely play the game anymore, you'd be too busy with one hand on your cock.
Well, those 5% are what I'll hopefully take. Weapon enchants are simple, slow time is just a shout, and wind walk is meh. Some are really creative, but they aren't explained or balanced all that well.
In particular, I hate how all these cool enchanted weapon mods give you quests to get them, have fancy bosses and shit, and spell mods, well, just buy them from Farengar. Fuck, man, that's so anticlimactic. When you can get the strongest spell in the game from some fag in a hood. Where's the adventure?
As a big mage player, that pisses me off. Some of my spells will be hidden around Skyrim, Some for sale, and some only available after a grueling dungeon run.
James Richardson
>I think, at that point, you can barely play the game anymore, you'd be too busy with one hand on your cock. You can throw your mouse down the stairway and you'll beat Skyrim.
Eli Carter
>Where is it? I said, Honey's tumblr. If you're too new to know it, you can find it. You're a resourceful fellow, it's but a click away ITT.
Jace Nelson
Recently I haven't been following the start with nothing and slowly accumlate spells through the course of the game, and instead creating a character in my head, giving them the select set of spells to start with (Cleric with only restoration spells, spellsword that doesn't use any destruction magic except for weapon enchants, etc) and go through the game without level scaling but I definitely respect wanting to make the spells feel like they're a part of the world
P.s. I do recommend having an optional download that just adds the spells not the extra dungeons and whatnot, many spell mods I would love to use I can't cause they change to many things in game and conflict with other mods
Jaxson Young
>fapping to meet and fuck tier bodies no one except for depraved retards like diana actually does this

Chartchan gonna need to give that chart an update now.

He namefagged for a bit, but seems that he's decided to stop now.
Landon Jackson
Here's another I've been working on. Master level conjuration spell, Release up to three dragon souls, summon up to three spirit dragons. These dragons fight for you and can be ridden for 120 seconds. Afterward, they disperse and move on to the afterlife.
The idea is to be thematic, you know? You trapped these dragon souls within you, and once they're released they're bound to your soul, at least until they dissipate. Very powerful stuff, too. So you have to consider whether you want to spend all your souls, or save them for a pinch.
>Honey's tumblr. If you're too new to know it, you can find it. You're a resourceful fellow, it's but a click away ITT. Yeah, I am pretty new here. No idea what you're talking about, but I'd like to see.
It can't be just ONE person on /tesg/ posting all of that, right?
Obviously the Optional download will be a thing.
Well, that's what mods are for.
Daniel Myers
So interiors arent loading for me anymore for some reason. I havent loaded any new mods and I'm using MO/LOOT, but interiors that were loading earlier now CTD
Brandon Thomas
of course, the attention whore realized that everyone actually does filter him. yet he still persists.
Logan Garcia
Whoops, forgot webm. This is from an earlier version where you could summon five. Quickly I realized how overpowered that was.

Look at the op and you'll find Honey's tumblr.
Christian Brooks
>Yeah, I am pretty new here. No idea what you're talking about, but I'd like to see. Read the OP >It can't be just ONE person on /tesg/ posting all of that, right? It is. No one else posts any waifu-related material that looks that bad except for someone who I shall not name for fear of summoning him, but he appears only very rarely.
William Gomez
Oh, it's just porn. I thought you they were working on a mod or something.
Eh, that's a pretty cute elf. I'd add her to my party, if eventually I get back to actually playing the game.
What house mod is it in the pictures?

Great chaos fireball is already done. Black Flame is definitely one of my favorites out of the Dark Souls series. The lightning strike is a second. The noise and VFX is so goddamn crispy. Sad that Black Flame didn't work, but hey, it's always good to see some great spells from you, Kos. Good stuff.

Christopher Robinson
Approval from /tesg/ is the only thing that makes me happy

Are blondes overdone?
Is it actually REDHEADS that have more fun?
When is white hair truly "played out"?
Brunettes can be sexy, but can they ever stand out from the crowd?
Bentley Reyes
Buddy maybe you need to find a new way to make yourself happy.
Sebastian Wood
Yeah, I sampled the sound from the DS game files and made a pretty similar alternative. Sounds almost the same. I too love the crisp.
That said, I did spend hours on hours trying to make black flame work. I ALMOST did. ALMOST. Miniaturized explosions, everything. Problem is, the solution was so script heavy it lagged by a second or two in a fully modded game. I have no clue how to make it really work.
Man, I just want to see more tomboys. I suck at waifu making.
