Question: How do I access the gallery in Milky Quest? Ive fucked everything in the game I think, only one encyclopedia space and it says 'not in game' seems to be a work in progress, as there was no ending and whatnot. Ive seen screenshots of a gallery area/debug, but I cant seem to find it. I checked in the fairy forest where it logically should be, but there's no circle there, and no debug option on boot.

After you defeat all the bosses, in fairy forest in a small side area there should be magical circle, if you touch it, you get the ending scene and will be teleported into gallery area. At least that's what I remember.
Also I don't think it's work in progress, pretty sure author just abandoned it like that.

It's not like you can get much from the engine, the most you can get is 狂想のヴァルキュリア when the skills you learn affect gameplay outcome outside of battles.
The guy wanted to go full mecha battle and this why the game was initially on MV engine but even that was too shit and the author had to go back to Ace to atleast make it stable. This is why the game has been delayed so much

We agree on this. You cant do much on those engines, but atleast some variety in the gameplay is nice. I dont even remember the last time i saw an RPG with robots

Clymenia managed to make a game with at least somewhat interesting gameplay with RJ178928. I think if he refined it a little it'll be pretty cool but every other game had terrible gameplay, with RJ164217 being the absolute fucking worst.

I did quite a bit of optimization on it, and I still want to do more if it won't take too much.

Stuff like high movement speed, high battle speed, pixel precise movement are all stuff Sachinama originally implemented though

things that I noticed the most were clean dialogue boxes, battle encouter effects, some sound effects and a few other things that feels like it's way more polished that your usual hrpg

Not that guy but the thing is, you could just remove you walking around and replace it with a menu to travel between home-shop-manor-church, and a talk button and you'd have the whole "game" covered. It could have been a VN, the little dungeonerring you can do (that it actively wants you to skip even) Is about the only reason to not just have it be point and click ADV, and even that could have been made to fit (since you don't need to find chests or items, just beat the boss).

Nah, I'll drop them if they get bad enough, but it's rare that it does (Fuck you, saki quest). I'd like for them to be improved on instead of just throwing it out the window, like ShotaxMonsters a few posts up, it has poor H-content but fun turn based rpg gameplay with party recruitment/management.
If I wanted just H, I'd go play all the "games" that have nothing between me and the H other then lines of text.

Clymedia is improving in gameplay, they try to make grind and dungeon as painless as possible while still keeping it on the game, blame the rpgm troupe
both tower of liz and noblemen hypno improved on this, either by making the action minigame or bypassing it completely
they only need to improve on the cg hunt shitfest and they could make very good games
