for echon set option, can I just make a 3pc set bonus first and gradually add another set piece later on? I read somewhere about messing things up will require more mats?

You'll have to create a new set bonus when going from 3 to 4, 4 to 5, and 5 to 6, which means at each step you'll have to use the same materials as if you were creating it from scratch.

In a future patch, the cost to add or change a set bonus will be reduced by the amount you spent on the pieces in the set that already have a bonus on them, but for now simply hold off until you have the 6 piece.

Nope, you can't just tack one more pieces. If you make a 3pc then decide you want to make a 5 or 6pc, you'll need to remake the set.

I played closers for a bit, they need to learn that 3D movement on 3D character models doesn't look good if they only have animations for moving along the x and y axis

The community for PVP doesn't really exist in DFO in the west because out west we get our PVP in Fighting games and FPS's rather than 10 year old F2P beat 'em ups. ofc the fact that DFO died at one point probably didn't help that at all.
