Why didn't Akechi killing Jokers shadow kill him? Wouldn't they have to be inside Sae's palace for the kill Joker plan to work? Why would her palace have a holding room if the house always wins? Why did the meta nav magically teleport them to that exact room they wanted? If it could always do that, why didn't they ever use it like that before? Why did the elevator take Akechi to the holding room? Why did the guard look like an actual guard and not a palace guard? Why did her cognition of them bleed when they died? If it was her cognition why would they die in the first place? That's not her cognition, that's Akechis. I'd really like a answer for this beyond shitty writing.

I don't think that Akechi did anything wrong. He was just a victim of circumstances that culminated in him being forced to hurt people. He was used by every adult in his life and never grasped onto anyone. His social link is proof of that. He barely knew Joker, and yet he liked him enough to have that type of relationship. All he wanted was to use his Persona to make the world better, just like Joker, but his goals were warped by Shido. Not having a dad fucks you up, and getting him back would fuck him up even more. Even as a tool, he was just looking for validation because he couldn't get it as a kid. Akechi is a victim, he is not a true antagonist.
