Gwent requires deep thinking and strategy

RNG archetype when?

Leader: 4 power gold, deploy a random card with the word "random" on it
Spy: 12 power silver. Show you two cards. You get to keep one, except 50% of the time it'll pick the wrong one for you.
Bronze: 6 power, whenever a random effect trigger, boost self by 1-3

Bronze: 6str. whenever random effect triggers, damage random enemy by 1-3

in 99% of the cases i've seen ghouls used it always buffed itself by 3 (arachas). almost as shit as swallow potion as far as cards in gwent go

It's really bad. You need some crazy card draw mechanics going in order to use your deck. Most decks just kill Priest before they get their chance. Grinding the opponent out hasn't been a valid strategy for a very long time, even back when Dragon Priest was a thing it was strong only because of very strong value cards that didn't sacrifice much tempo (like Drakonid Operative)

To be fair, Agitator is not random. He is not rando, random, he creates a copy of a random dwarf in your deck. So if you only have one kind of card, for example, defenders, he spawns a defender 100% of the time.

He is random, but I'm sure that's because the card is just shit.
Hitting a unit per row. You need to give high wounding value, but also balance it by not allowing you to choose what card to wound.

In Gwent, both players have an equal chance to win at the beginning of the game

Dennis Cramer buffs all your dorfs by +1. its a single silver card.
SK will get Veterans that do the same, they are bronze abd you can have 3 of them.

The idea of Veteran is that you get the buffs when it matters less: after round 1. Everybody wants to win round 1 to a certain extent.

winning the game 2-0 is very hard which is why round 3 matters the most. veteran gives extra points in the deciding moment of the match

People want to win round 1 not because they're looking to 2-0, it's because it gives them the choice of bleeding or not in round 2 (especially if you have a silver spy in hand).

Its not that hard to predict where the opponents units will be. Interactable golds also help.
