Eh, I guess that can be a matter of taste. I love both but I just like MW more because I played it more as a kid and imo the soundtrack is better (not that into metal, sorry. Although U2 has Spiderbait so it gets plus points for that).
That said NFSU2's map and mods are so much better than MW's.

Just casually bought this game for PC but I can't find a way to make it playable, seriously, I can't even make it to the beginning of the career mode before crashing.

reinstall the physx version that came with the game
if you got it on steam, register the key on origin and dl the origin version it works better

To be completely honest it's been 2 weeks of googling, checking driver updates, switching monitor plugins, updating and downgrading the game, hell, I've trown a bunch of cracks in there too, all and all, I got no results.
I have the origin version btw, yeah I know, I'm an idiot for not clarifying that point earlier too

Download a pirtated version and see if that works as opposed to the origin version.
do you get a windows crash report window thingy? if yes do check the event viewer perhaps there's a telltale in the crash log
