Different starting position on the passive tree for easier time completing x build.
Nothing is locked behind classes/characters. Literally the only reason to choose one over the other is where you start on the skill tree and, as of the new subclass bullshit, those passives.

People are making their chaos:ex rates more visible than any of the lowball rates or "price manipulator" rates by reversing the rate number that's shown so that it always shows at the top, being reversed and thus being the best rate on the page (rates are sorted from best to worst, typically speaking)
They obviously don't intend to give someone 35ex for 1c, and so when messaged about the rate make it clear that it's really 35c for 1 ex, shown ABOVE and BEFORE a rate of 1ex:34c properly listed.

People are at this point manipulating how the actual website works and displays rates in order to "price manipulate" on a meta level.
This was extremely infrequently practiced until a Reddit post showcasing the idea was made today.
