>cognitive dissonance: the post
Pre-facelift headlights are objectively inferior to post facelift
And you're a faggot

Buyers are ditching meme imports for trucks, let that sink in. You can't keep selling the same stale package and keep getting away with it.
And you are a trip faggot

Weird, but in a better way. I just cant comprehend, how worldwide leading automotive company didnt painted moldings on a fucking business sedan that has sold millions units. No respect for their customers.
>buttons fall off all the time
the god damn AC buttons crack all the time with light use. some 3rd party actually created a website to sell individual buttons so you don't have to buy the whole assembly. A lot of plastics under the hood crack easily too. The plastics in these cars do not like warm weather.
fuck off louis
...
>better than the E32
Go see a doctor, you must have brain damage or some shit.
I used to own an e39. Here are some flaws:
At the age they are now, everything is starting to need to be replaced.
Worst cup holders ever put into a vehicle. Unless they've been replaced recently, they probably aren't even all there.
Very expensive upkeep costs. Spent $14,000 in a year and a half on mine and still couldn't keep up.
Unless you're rich, don't bother with performance mods. For the price my current car would cost to run a 10 second 1/4 mile, you'd get maybe 30-50 extra HP from en e39.
WHY ARE YOU BEEPING, THERE'S NOTHING BEHIND ME!
People will think you're rich even though it's almost 2 decades old because of that will go out of their way to damage your car. I've never had a car get as hit/damaged/abused by random people as I did with my e39. Constantly finding new scratches, gouges, dents, etc from where people ran into it in a parking lot and just drove off, or purposely hit/scratched it as they walked past my house at night.
Leg room in the back is kind of terrible.
RIP headliner.
RIP power window parts.
RIP instrument cluster LEDs.
RIP anything plastic or rubber under the hood.
loltimingchainguides
Probably more, but eh. Lots of good stuff about the car, but they're just getting to the age where it's not worth it unless you love them and have deep pockets. Cheaper to save up and get something much newer.
>only 2 cup holders
>Worst cup holders ever put into a vehicle
What is it with Americans and cup holders? You really aren't doing the stereotype any favours.
thank fuck they look like poverty spec alloys and
NO HALO RINGS
i have to say, how far had that one gone? i have a 99 M5, and the only thing i can agree with you on is the cupholders. Mine has held together very well
It was the start of bloat.
I'm in Australia, actually. Also, it's a luxury car, some of us would like a luxury car to at least have cup holders. Stereotype? You're pretty stupid aren't ya...?
Had almost 250,000 KMs on it. Was also a 99. Just about everything I mentioned is really common stuff for these cars. You're either real lucky, or got the car from someone who spent a lot of money replacing stuff already. Either way, hope your luck holds out. They're nice cars, just, lots of issues when they get old.
ah, yeah, it is just a 170k km car. And yes, dad who used to have it cared for it like his child. So the water and fuel pump was replaced at like... 140k km because it was something that might fail.
Its like you die if you wont sip your coffee right in your car. I dont get people who drink while driving. Especially stuff thats in cup and put in cupholder. Do you drive in car just to drink or what? What exactly you feel while drinking and driving. How does it makes you better than a person who talks or texts on his smartphone? And what if someone makes you to do some crazy maneuver and that shit spills all over you, your interior and possibly on electronics? You seriously do not care and dont mind hassle with cleaning interior?
Don't wanna make a new thread.
Is 4.8k euro too much for an e46 3.0d coupe with 200k km? Seems to be in good shape.
I can find 2.0d for like 1-2k less but I heard 3.0d is better.
Should I wait for other offers to pop up or ask him to lower it a bit?
