Here are some reasons why I personally think Lucina v Lyn will still lean towards Lucina in the voting gauntlet, as a "[x]fag" pre-requisite, I like Cherche.

A) Regular Lucina has had multiple banners at this point in the game. We are about to enter September, and regular Lyn's current banner is the second one she's had since launch. I think it's fair to say that statistically, more people have Lucina than Lyn, giving their side more people with bonus points. I can personally attest that I haven't rolled a single Lyn since launch, but about three Lucinas. If anyone can oppose this with their own rolls, please do so.

B) The amount of people that lean towards the older/GBA characters in the series *will* be divided. It is easy to say you prefer Lyn over Lucina, but what is a "Lynfag" is hard to define. You can say you prefer Lyn over Lucina, but will someone necessarily support her when the just-as-loved Ike, Hector, and Roy are also present to support with their own battles to fight? I think most people's priorities will get the better of them, whereas the people that like Lucina likely only overlap with people who like Chrom.

C) I am not saying Lucina will win the gauntlet overall, if she does, more power to her fans, I am just saying it's not as one-sided as you might think. She could still be destroyed by Lyn followers who, after potentially losing, deflect to Ike.

Please refute these as you see fit, I am open to discourse.

I'm about to get Armads but I haven't really been training any of my main axe users since it's so rare I encounter enemy lances. I have a couple promoted units that can use them, but their weapon mastery is is all D and E.

I figure it'd be more efficient to train up a main axe user so they'll reach S mastery quickly to use it if I need it, but I'm not sure who is the best investment.
