Gear? Just anything with Ink Resist, Ink Savers, and Tenacity. Tenacity is really important because I always retreat due to the fact that I outlive most of my teammates.

Should you ever use ink saver sub instead of main? It doesn't seem like you can ever get additional sub uses and you're going to be using your main weapon more anyway.

Dynamo. No I'm not asking for it to be like in the first game at launch but in 2 I've seen around ten people at most use it. I don't see any reason to use it over any other roller. Maybe the gold version will work better. It has toxic mist and armor.

Regular slosher, SS Jr, and Splash-o-matic with ink saver main, recovery, and object shredder.

ISS means more shots out of your main weapon. If you hit diminishing returns on ISM, you should add some ISS instead of more ISM.

Yeah but how many ink savers are you going to stack? And additionally, how often are you going to be throwing subs that you need to use both savers?

It's great for the Inkbrush so it has a real range option. Octobrush it's debatable but I still like having atleast one main of sub saver so I throw autobombs and still have enough to take someone out.

She might not be all that fresh by herself, but she can make the biggest of losers feel pretty raw.

Sub is generally more useful than main if you're using your sub a good number of times per match.

When you use your sub, your ink recovery goes on cooldown until the ink drains for that ability. So if it costs less, less cooldown.

Example: Without any abilites, let's say you use a blaster with a burst bomb, and it has 10 shots. If you use a burst bomb, you now only have 5 shots you can fire.

If you add a ISS main, you still have only 10 main weapon shots, but if you use a burst bomb, you have 6 more shots you can fire with your main weapon instead of 5. That's where ISS benefits, more than just back-to-back subs. And it helps a lot using both your sub and main weapons before you need to refill your ink.
