Gathering is my least favourite thing to do in FFXIV, I hate it. I won't even touch FSH ever again.

But i really, really enjoy crafting so I picked up some gathering on the side to be able to spend less money on mats. Since I hate gathering so much I have my retainers do all the work, that alone made leveling gathers worth it.

Crafting is my life now, I've embraced my inner jew and hit up the marketboards for all its worth when people aren't tanking the economy.

I'd like to believe that I am mentally stable, thank you, and I liked Zenos. He had better motivations than our own character did. And he was a MUCH better character than trashcans like Yotsuyu or all ego no substance shits like Magnai, who everyone else seems to fawn over

Zenos didn't care about the Empire. His motivations were about finding a worthy enemy, and of feeling something once more - which the WoL provided. He was happy at the end of the storyline.

Given that they're meant to deal with corrupt members of the Church, and the second half of Heavensward, I can only assume, deals with the corruption of Thordan VII

Yea, the 60-70 storyline ties in heavily with the events that happened in heavensward. It's more dealing with your grief over the events that happened.
