Actually, Murky's pretty awful against Malthael. The mark lasts longer than the bubble, and he can kill the puffer with two autos and a Q. His own autos and Qs are more than enough to kill Murky before any significant damage is done.

But anyone with long distance easy escapes or good poke can ruin him. Malthael suffers when he's kept at bay. So Valla, Nazeebo, and Li Ming are not his favorites. Kharazim can make an easy getaway, too. Sonya can take him face to face, and even manage to beat him in a duel with the right talents and behavior.
He's good against Jojo though.

you can literally just follow a step-by-step checklist for every map, there's no deep strategy at all

pick her on appropriate maps. when obj is pushing wall put trait on both towers. When obj is pushing fort/keep put trait on tower and also fort/keep. This way you will have your obj take as least damage as possible.

Since his rework he can have a ton of paths in his talents and still work fine. Skeleton build is fine for noobs, your goal is to get skeletons up in one lane and then rotate down to the next one and repeat. His purpose in teamfights is to just debiliate so ypur team can so the heavy lifting. W and Q builds both work fine in teamfights, but W youll need more support with to pull off.
