If you want to make a brawl deck, please remember the following:

All I did at the start was chuck a bunch of suitable looking cards in and then switched a few around as I went, so it's not optimized obviously but it got me to rank 2 this season

Nobody else I've seen seems to run shifting shade but it's honestly such a nice card - the amount of times it pulled me an ultimate infestation of an iceblock from quest mage is insane, and it's also a great annoying minion for the opponent in the mirror match.

Blizzard are notoriously bad when it comes to catching botters. WoW is infested with them, always has been.

Once a year they ban a few in their "banwave" while most don't get touched.

And when it comes to Hearthstone, it's free to create butthole.net accounts. You can easily bot like 30 instances of it if you have access to different IPs.

I only play meme decks in casual. All I know is that this is a relatively recent thing that happened a few months after MSG. Before then it was less common to run into tier 1 decks in casual.

There's your problem. Just go for well statted early minions and go face. Reliable is unreliable in arena so going face is almost always safe.

im averaging just under 5 wins in the last 2 expansions, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I usually just draft high value/tempo minions for the first third or so of the draft and see if theres an archetype im building. Tempo is almost always more important in KFT arena meta since there are so many buffs so 2 drops are premium.

Always fight to control the board near the beginning then flip the switch and go face when your comfortably ahead.

Know what cards are common and do your best to play around them (eg. clear before their turn 7 so they cant play bonemare, if against paladin, clear before turn 6 for steed, etc...). If you fall behind in this meta you usually just get snowballed, so early tempo is extremely important
