Just roll some core SSRs. there's no reason not to as it's simply saving time that would be otherwise spent grinding redundant GW chars to replace your event/free roll SR's

The most important thing is to do your daily chores. The AP-positive half pot sources, co-op missions, casino dailies/monthlies, primarch trials, magna hosts, cap your weekly prestiege. Solely just a grid goes a very, very long way. So long it can haul rares and SR characters very very far. While you're working on that you'll slowly accumulate more characters from events/gw/free rolls.
