uhhhhhhhh am i some sort of brakelet or osmething? i use my rear brake on 2017 rebel than i do my front brake because i can still use the throttle to rev match for engine braking which is about 70% of all of my braking.

We went to a Bimota "museum" today. There was some Ducati stuff, too.
No bike here but very interested for saving on fuel, I have a 30 mile commute one way For a daily is a bike a huge pain in the ass? How long do bikes tend to last with maintenance milage wise, like a car lasting 200,000 with care, or failing at 100,000 being beat on and neglected
That should last a good long while. Tires arent as bad as the other moron said. Half as many tires and half the cost for a little 250. Oil changes are the normal around 3000 miles depending on bike.
Do your research. Bikes are cheap if you do it right
Is your ass too big for proper riding pants or what?

My drive is about 27-28 miles highway, about half the speed limit is 55 and the other is 65. Do highway speeds kill the efficiency if driven reasonably?

U dumb?

Yes on a 250 it sort of will. A 650 would be better suited with slightly worse fuel economy
Xavier Edwards
Well the more you brake the lighter your rear gets. MotoGP riders don't even use their rear when maximum braking.
Thomas Foster
yes but don't bully me about it :(

well that was the weirdest shit today
>cruiserfag that went "offroading" earlier this morning >as i suspected, absolutely no issues whatsoever >plain non-maintained dirt path. bumpy, but otherwise fine. >get far enough from people that its safe to shoot >get rid of all the 5.56 i brought >took apart ar, placed back in storage >get ready to take off >bike wont start >i immediately lose my composure >freak out >nearly 20 miles from civilization >no cell service >could probably make it back but dont want to leave bike and gun >literally kick rocks for 10 minutes >hear motors off in the distance >2 atvs, a sand rail thing, 3 dirtbikes heading my direction >they see me waving like a retard >enormous family out teaching one another to ride >Dad, 10 kids (couple 2ups on dirtbikes and quads) >5 sets of twins or some shit what the fuck. theyre basically all 12-15 >dad's a god-tier bro >tries to start my bike >no luck >offers to take me back to the road until I get cell service so I can call for some help >pull him aside, let him know about the gun >laughs >unsheathes fuckhueg revolver from sandrail thing >"not a problem, son. these guys know better than to touch my guns, let alone a stranger's" >make it back to the road >talk to the guy, tells me about his kids, little bit of each other's lives >blah blah blah >call everyone i know and trust >nobody available to help >ask if he can just help me wheel it to the road, offer him some money >agrees, says not to worry about paying him >get on the bike >instinctively pull up the kickstand, pull in the clutch, and start the bike >runs perfectly fine >i dont even know what i did >"you sneaky bastard. if you wanted a conversation, you could've just asked me!"
tl;dr: i forgot my rebel doesn't start unless kickstand is up and clutch is pulled in and psychologically stranded myself in the middle of the arizona desert and hung out with some bro-tier boomer and his kids and got to ride actual dirt bikes
thanks for reading my blog

It's definitely gonna have an effect, 65mph is roughly where the main jet kicks in in sixth so that'll drop it a bit.
Run the numbers of a 250 vs a 650 or something with taller gearing if you're doing that kind of riding.
250's are good bikes and can do highway riding just fine, it's just not the most efficient bike for that type of thing.
Angel White
Hahaha. Nice! Bikes and guns bring the nicest folk together
I'm watching the ASBK replay on SBS now, but I don't know much about motor sports. I want to know how the teams work, points systems etc. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Rocket. Go big or go home. It also already has touring editions.

Because your second counter is moving 15% faster than it should. Go crash into a truck
Joseph Lopez
Appreciate the advice, seems like the general consensus is the rocket. I wouldn't call either of the bikes cringe worthy. Both have enough hp and torque to smoke almost anything else even remotely close to being considered a touring, cruising, or distance bike by miles. Both bikes also have enough power to get out of shit if someone gets road rage on the highway, because both accelerate to 60 and 100 around the same amount of time a 600 sportsbike will.
I just compared it with my computer's clock, his second counter is on point. Which doesn't prove anything, he could still speed up his videos and simply overlay the second counter afterwards.
>he thinks dirtbikes are cheap Street cucks are so clueless
Anthony Young
And the last thread one of you kids said dirtbikes are cheap and easy. Fucking fags.
Isaiah Reed
Dual sports maybe. Dirtbikes, no
Nathaniel Martinez
Lol. Ok
Nicholas Cooper
Dirtbikes do have a higher maintenance cost. Fluid and filter change every 8 hours. New set of tires every 5 or so rides and tubes as they pop. Top end rebuild once a year. Replacing shit you break when you wreck.
>Both bikes also have enough power to get out of shit if someone gets road rage on the highway You shouldn't be picking fights on a bike. Just let cagers be cagers. >smoke 600s Lol no
