I own both a 5 speed shitbox and a nice commuter bike. If I ever add a garage on I would love to get a project car. I do all my own work on both. Mileage is split 60/40 car/bike. I never got the hate between the 2.

At extremely long distances running requires a different build than cycling. Endurance runners are usually very lean all around, while cyclists need super powerful legs. I don't think either of the common builds black athletes have are good for cycling. The west African/African American type is too focused on explosive muscles and the east African marathoner body is too skinny. This is also why you rarely see black swimmers in the Olympics.
