Hey everybody. I'm 18 and live in southern California. I have been driving two years with zero insurance claims and zero tickets. I am a huge Honda guy and I really want to purchase an s2000. I know they are not very good for younger driver's but I think I am mature enough to respect it's limits. The car would be my only car and I have enough cash to purchase a decent one. I am able to do all maintenance myself as I am fairly mechanically inclined. My only concern is my insurance. I currently drive an 02 civic si hatchback with full coverage and the price isn't too bad. Would it be stupid of me to sell my si and buy an s2000 before they keep climbing in price?
Hey everybody. I'm 18 and live in southern California...
>tfw europoor
>tfw 18 years old americans can buy s2000
If you don’t buy it now you’ll regret it for the rest of your life
I'm scared you're right. They're becoming more and more valuable each year. I'm trying to be responsible with my money but I've wanted an s2000 since I was a child and I can finally afford to buy one.
I've driven both an ap1 s2k and an NA miata. I liked the miata way more. The s2k has a cool motor that redlines to 9k but it burns a shit ton of oil and has no torque.
>I am a huge Honda guy
For you
Off topic, but I want to exhaust fuck that car.
insurance will be a pain
>under 25 male driver
>over the 200HP threshold
>RWD
>older than 10 years
>2 doors
>likely a bright color paint
also the asking price for S2Ks are already stupid, you could buy quite a few miatas
yeah man, if you love the car. you seem stable enough, the car will make up for having to pay more if thats the case
I'm not really into miatas, but it would probably be a more responsible car than an s2000 at my age at least. Maybe after college I'll get an s2000 if there's any left.
