they haven't lied. there are +80 activities to do and tons of exotics. 6 strikes is more than enough now that there are fully fleshed out patrols as an alternative to mind numbing strike grinding.

I don't think they'd really want to tank all the public goodwill they grinded back up with TTK and ROI after vanilla D1's poor release, but I think people also need to temper their expectations and not expect a sequel to, at launch, be twice the size of a game that had 3 years of content

All of those look so cool. I'm glad exotics are getting a little more specific for cool builds. Ex: in the last thread, a guy suggested Actium War Rig and Sweet Business for insane dakka. Graviton Lance with that new Warlock helm that recharges abilities with void damage will also probably pair insanely well witj the Devour tree on Voidwalker. Stuff like that.

Seems there's a lot to the "adventures" and lost sectors, and patrol areas are larger. Still, I don't know what people are expecting from Bungie when their publisher's lead product is annual 6 hours of campaign and then a trickle of multiplayer maps for full price. Probably still gay for MMOs loaded with empty space where you never see anyone anyway.

We've got no solid numbers on these, but given Bungies propensity for exaggerating heavily, their idea of "lots" is probably 1-2 per zone that'll take 10-20 minutes to do tops.

Even if we do get 3 additonal subclasses, that's still half of them functioning about the same.

i like how the exotics for titan and warlock are geared to their archetypes. titans exotics favor CQC and getting hit, and some have perks that have to do with your ammo and protecting your team. warlocks exotics have to do with ability regen and healing, and some have perk where a damage type speed up the regen, making warlock a healer/support king. also titan/warlock is best tag-team

It's a complete mystery. The way they have done it basically gives zero customization beyond picking either of the two skillsets for each subclass. They could either leave it this way permanently, add more skill groups to choose from later, or add alternative choices within each skill group.

The worst case scenario is doing absolutely nothing because those choices are VERY limited, even if they all have a level of meta synergy built into them. So Bungie is like: "Here are your two not-stupid choices, pick one because you're too dumb to decide for yourself".
