Alright if you're leveling then you can leave whip skewer at 1 while you max everything above level 35 (except paradigm detonation which you leave at 1). As for sub 40 skills max corridor, dimensional laser, time space bomb,nyarly, and passives+buff (of course). 10 points in dimension leap +tp for the hold after that tp dimensional laser, time space bomb, positron blast, parasite swarm,leap, and I personally put the last point into corridor.
After leveling however take points from corridor to max whip skewer.
You can take 1 point in paradigm detonation if you want for the BTR hold

Pretty much only f.saders should bother with a 3 piece. If you give up, better to just let the mats sit in your inventory than to throw them away on something worthless in case you change your mind later.

Nope, it's available for any number of pieces, you'll just have higher bonuses available with more (and higher quality) equipment.
