You'd need a truck to haul those fat bitches around.

Help me out here, guys.
I'm interested in getting a truck.
Thinking of a 9th gen F150, 3rd gen C10, or a little Ford Ranger '82 and up.
The Ranger will probably be my pick but I'd still like some insight on the other two.
Pros and cons of each?
Your experience with one? Same for the 302, 351 and chebby 350.

Attached: 630.jpg (1140x641, 70K)

My vote is for the ranger. My 94 just rolled over 275k with just basic maintenance like alternator, MAF sensor, and oil changes.

YOOOOO LOOK AT MUH TRUCK!!!!

Big, manly, muscley, high t, big dick men drive trucks
I get so much puss because I drive a 2018 Chevy
Silvetado deseil
Fags drive fords
All fags quiver in fear when they see me roaring down the street in my deisil Chebby truck
NO. CHEVY SILVERADO HIGH COUNTRY EDITION, DURAMAX DEISIL
6 INCH LIFT
35 INCH TIRES
EXTENDED EXAUST
IT ROARS LIKE A LION
When I rev my truck all fags, pussys, cucks, libshits, nu males, trannies, etc run for fear
I park like a douche
but I don't care
If someone hassles me about my parking, I pull out my "nigger be good" stick (wood ax handle) and threaten them.
I use at least 2 parking spots
Trust me, if you saw me waving my "nigger be good" you'd run in fear

hold up
*consumes a big mac and a whopper in one bite*

like i was sayinf my truck is the real deal

How did new trucks get so expensive?

Even a base model short bed regular.cab Chevy 1500 is over 30k.

I'm surprised these aren't more popular. The diesels are pretty cheap used for what you get, and it's a big comfortable truck. I understand that the 2500's are better, but they also cost $20k more from what I've seen.

Carlos Goshn Nissan is garbage outside the leaf and gtr.

Let’s load both with 7000lbs and hit the road and see which performs better.

lol who the hell buys a Titan. if ya want a good truck get a damn Tacoma or Tundra.

The loyalty of truck buyers. Each one insists the others are poorly made, the other guy makes a bad transmission, the other guy has bad/and/or/weak engines, the other guy has the wrong wheelwell shape, the other guy has a grille design that looks like ass, etc.

In a "blind test" (as impossible as it is), "Just sit in it and tell me what you think", the Nissans get pretty good reviews, and from brand-loyal buyers.

Crowded market, aesthetics are polarizing, brand not known for trucks.

Attached: 1520219884398.png (1000x1000, 170K)

Those are cool trucks, but you live in a suburb of Denver you fucking poser.

Did you not read the long term test lol

The Cummins is plagued with problems. I like Nissan but these big flaws are extremely hard to ignore.

thinking of swapping out my little suv for a small truck
for outdoors shit, carrying my kayaks, throwing dead critters in carrying tools and firewood etc
ideally 5.3 and 4wd
reg cab, dont care short or long bed

what does truck thread think

What are the dimensions of the 2 door tacomas bed? The website says it's 3 feet wide

Sounds like you know you want a Silverado/Sierra.

Just keep an eye on the 4L60E and have money set aside for when it eventually shits the bed on you

>poser
sure. I have had the truck for 4 years and it's more of a pleasurecraft than a workhorse.

i use one at work every day, though its only rear wheel, know its a decent little truck that will take the shit il throw at it mostly
i dont like the looks of most other modern trucks
for 70-80k miles im looking at 13-15K$

ive got an uncle whos a gm technician and actually knows his shit so i can always go to him if something goes wrong

Yeah pretty much. Some cons are the ungodly fuel consumption and engine weight (mostly cast). Pros are it sends really god damn well, pulls like a beast, and is loud as hell (I run duals out the side). And thanks, always been a fan of Avs

Attached: IMG_1237.jpg (2208x1242, 409K)

>The Cummins is plagued with problems
Is this with the modern Cummins or does this apply to most of them? My friend has an 93 Dodge with 400k miles and the cummins is still going fine. The rest of the car though is another story...

No the nissan specific V8 cummins.

The 5.9 and 6.7s i6s are fine

lol dude on the far right just chugging a beer like fuck these fat hoes and fuck this wedding

thinking about buying pic related or z71 with the duramax later this year. Anyone here have one?

they seek approval for their shitty purchase and spurg out whenever their $50,000 truck gets beaten by a p1 shitter in a $2,000 i6
I had a retard in a F150 rev his engine at the lights as he flew off and nearly crashed into an old cunt that had no idea what he was doing on the road. Then at the next set of lights i passed him and he got stuck behind an ancient kia rio and a hyundai getz both going 10KM under the speed limit

watching him weave all over the road as he tries to get past them was too good

Thats fucking awesome bro, great combo.

>Tundra in an offroad environment
The hell? Did it roll over and end up there? You never see those off road for some reason.

t. Tundra owner that never drives it offroad.

Thinking about picking this up. Need something cheap and good in the snow so I decided either a small truck or suv. What do you think (I know nothing about trucks)

syracuse.craigslist.org/cto/d/2002-ford-ranger-xlt-super-cab/6525900391.html

It was fun to slide around in sand and mud last summer but I broke a lot of parts. If you want an S10 buy a ZR2 or a Ranger.

Attached: IMG_20170619_113821489.jpg (2560x1440, 1.48M)

What are these bed cover things called? All my searches turn up tonneau covers or whatever

Most people call them a cap or camper shell. Mine is made by Leer. They're useful for people like me who like to just leave a bunch of junk bouncing around the back of their truck all the time.

american cars, not even once

Just sold my Ranger
Although a 4 cylinder 5 speed
Not bad if you need the 4x4 if it isn't rusty and has been serviced
Otherwise I'd say look at a half ton GM truck or Tahoe
the 4.0 V6 sips fuel like a v8
and with an automatic it's kinda gay

Shut up all your little Fiats would just go over the curb like a buncha gypos
Moral of the story; you witnessed this from the bus

>dumbistanian

I haxe a 16 Silverado its a great truck, I'd post a pic but im drunkl and just reformatted my hard drive

Thinking about taking an El Camino and making a usable truck/ute out of it, probably including a supercharged 6.2 diesel v8 at some point. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Attached: 357036C2-AB6A-481C-A333-CF9CE77B1EAB.jpg (640x480, 41K)

Don't expect major hauling with the ranger. Go for the I4, a way better engine than any of the V6s. Cheap and reliable. Decent gas mileage, and usually easier to get a manual than an automatic.

i am also interested. why would you go for z71 over zr2 (if price is no factor)?

"No"

At what point (speed, weight, length) dors a fifth wheel become necessary/recommended? We dont have them here so I'm curious

Attached: 20180308_171815-1843x1037.jpg (1843x1037, 377K)

Give it to me straight guys....

My little 2000 dodge dakota has a little engine slap or ccdi when it's cold out and I first start her up. After she warms up it's all good and she runs like a top. Is my engine about to grenade? 5.9l v8 swap? Hemi swap? Buy first gen Cummins? Buy diesel sprinter van for moto and just buy a bike for daily?

Mpg and I guess looks. I need to test drive both more

A regular pintle hitch and an equipment trailer can haul... Lots. Mine is 12 ton but I think there's excavator trailers up to 20k with just pintle hitches, no fifth wheel.

So into cdl territory, or whatever you have

hey i just bought a 2002 f150 with 230k km/125k miles on it
it's an automatic with a new tranny
my question is what happens to the tranny at 125k miles?

Is that yours? If so, pretty cool.

Fifth wheel trailers offer more stability, and the ability to utilize more space with a shorter towing length. It’s not “necessary”, per se, it’s just preferred when dealing with larger loads.

Is there any big difference in how much they can handle? I always imagined that a fifth wheel hookup was generally more heavy duty than a typical rear-mounted trailer hitch and so on

Well yes and no. Aside from the stability advantage, with a bumper pull you can be limited to the weight rating listed on the hitch (usually 10,000lbs max), and DOT restrictions (10,001+ will hit commercial territory and require a license). Since fifth wheel/gooseneck hitches have a higher weight rating the weight restrictions are higher.

That’s not coming from an expert, I’m just sharing what I remember off the top of my head, so take it with a grain of salt.

drop that engine in a miata pussy

Cuck trucks

>502.
>Manual tranny.
Why can't the rest of the world be like this? ;___;

It's a 496 lol

The sad thing is this is the average american who owns a truck mindset

Oh, indeed. 502s are 8200cc.

Not my fault if I haven't fully memorized your made up units. :^)

2016 ram because I am a basic white male

after driving a shitty 2006 4.6l f150 for 5 years it feels good actually having power

You’re funny

You're allowed to double tow with a fifth wheel in some states/provinces.
