best 4x4 I ever had, gave it's life for me when a semi truck merged into me. i was lightly dazed, the brave little M class was completely destroyed with a wheel torn off
got an '04 tahoe after that, there was more cargo room and the vortec had a gruntier powerband, but it just wasn't the same as my benz with her comfy seats, cushy wood trim, and malfunctioning navitainment system
i have since then been spending a lot of time reading up about the alabama trashcan / W163, and now i know how easy it is to DIY fix everything on them.
all i can do is keep looking for the right replacement, and hope that Doug Defucko doesn't do a video on how cheap they are and how good they can be

I posted it once, I'll post it again. I recently owned a 1993 Chevy 454 SS, my dad bought when it was brand new truck and drove off the showroom floor. Fast forward 17 years later, he gave the vehicle to me because I needed a car for college. I enjoyed every little bit of it. It was until 2013 when I was engaged to my ex. She wanted a vehicle with extra cargo room in the back, and the pickup bed just wasn't going to cut it. Being the cuck I was, I traded in my truck in replaced it with a 2011 Toyota Yaris, just for her. While I wasn't regretting my decision then, a year later is when I felt AWFUL about the decision I made and that was right after we broke up.
I traded in my dad's vehicle, a vehicle that been apart of my life all for a woman. I wanted to die because of such a retarded choice I made. My dad would have been so disappointed in me.

at that year the ford lightning and dodge rams made the same HP as the 454SS. this was back in the day of iron blocks and heads, low compression for smog and the throttle body efi.
