Death runes were over 100 gp above shop prices in the ge, and bots were making a killing buying/selling them. It dropped the price considerably, killing the bots, and made magic cheaper to train too. It also added a non-pvm moneymaking method that's actually decent.

Yeah, and a few quests like Desert Treasure. People have even died against the final RfD fight. Also don't Dh mole ever no matter how alluring it may be.

#1 runkiller is making a single mistake in the thousands of hours you play the game. Something like forgetting a dfire shield, letting prayer slip, not paying attention etc etc. "dcing" is generally what you say to cover up your fuck-ups. That said yeah dcing will fuck you too in the end even if you're perfect.

Dc'ing is the number one killer early on, but as the acc grows overconfidence eclipses it - just look at how many hiscoring hcims have died to the giant mole, probably the easiest boss in the game. Also, avoid afking or getting distracted in places where you could die with bad luck - wintertodt, sulfur mining, or the desert, for example. Also youll need to keep closer track of poison than a normal acc. Gl!

70k xp/hr seems completely unrealistic without 3rd party software of any kind. even 60k is hard to pull off with nearly 100% focus throughout the hour

did you fletch all of the logs you cut? on my way to 99 wc and i'm wondering if i should just go ahead and fletch all my logs instead of selling them.

you can always get fletch xp from maples

I just do that when afk instead of actively training fletch, same as I do with addy dart tips for smithing

How strict/effective is Jagex when it comes to macros anyway? With the sheer hordes of people blatantly botting I can't imagine them giving a fuck about someone using a simple macro to save having to click back and forth repeatedly.

you can ahk alch a 99 without getting caught if you're smart about it

It's partly random on their side and how much care you take into making yourself seem legit. Obviously don't RC for 6 hours straight but even then you can't guarantee not getting caught. You might even get lucky and become that guy who botted millions of thieving exp without getting found out.

I recommend to people that are botting that they don't do it on their main account. Do it with something like fishing or runecrafting (good moneymakers for alts).
