>GM Build quality. Sure there's worse but fit and finish in the interior could be better honestly
>Oddly loud, and not in a good sounding way. And it's not just mine either I've heard others that sound just like it

Would I recommend it? I mean kind of. I got mine with 79k miles or so for about 4.5 Grand, and I can certainly think of worse dailies. It's practical, they're cheap and all the parts are GM parts bin things so not to hard to keep running when things crop up. I wouldn't say go out of your way to buy one, but you can do worse.

I have, but I'm more interested in getting a new RX7 FC before doing any kind of work like that. Just planned to keep it around till I got one, but since owning it, I'll probably keep it even when I get one, as my daily. Drive it until this engine finally gives way, then either do a VTEC swap, or just rebuild this engine with VTEC heads.
>If I'm to be honest, I don't know half as much about these engines as I do all the doritos, since I had an FC before this and mostly read up on those for a few years. I couldn't tell you the difference between a B16 and a B18 if I wanted to without looking it up.

Great color, oem tuned pops are always fun, launches like a rocket, cheap, attracts attention from feels enthusiasts but not vapid normies.

Turning radius, hatchbacks aren't as practical as they used to be may as well be a sedan, it's domestic, the turning radius, forged wheels are ugly

Recommendation:
If you want an economical daily that's still kinda fun to drive, then yes. But it's not going to satisfy you if you really wanted a sports car or hot hatchback. The economy powertrain is a double-edged sword and arguably the car's greatest hindrance; great on your wallet, not so great on back roads.

Pretty non existent really. You have a lot of body roll and therefore feel of how much more you can lean, and when a wheel lifts it can't accelerate any further due to an open differential. You get used to it pretty quickly. Although I'd imagine it would fail the moose test in a spectacular manner. I bought the car as a joke and the handling is what surprised me the most. Goes round corners surprisingly quickly.

Got it a decade ago for about 4k at 36,000 miles so yeah, if you can get it at a decent price it's a good daily driver, and in the US there's tons of aftermarket or salvage parts that are easy to find.

Eh it's a cheap, reliable A to B car. It's served me well, but I can't wait to get something nicer.

What did you get instead?

I'm the original owner and I still enjoy the car stock. I've owned a lot of cars in the past but this one is probably my favorite (1999 Integra GSR is a close second)

I've test driven other cars but there is nothing I would trade it in for. I test drove a Chevy SS yesterday and that was a great car. I might pick one up in a couple years.

you're right, those are ugly ass wheels. You need the JDM steelies.
It is the last cool car with a Scion badge on it though.

I'm this guy I loved driving the 86, but I have back and neck problems from a car crash in 2016 and figured the 6 would be a decent compromise. It is, and I like it, but I still wonder if I'd be happier living with a sports car. That said, one thing that my car can do that I'm pretty sure a BRZ can't is fit an XL bicycle in the trunk.

How's the reliability?
My brother's friend has had pretty much everything replaced under warranty, some times you get a real lemon.

I've only owned the car for a few months now, but it's generally been reliable. Only one real problem as of yet was leaky rear axle seals that got fixed under warranty. Other problem I had wasn't even Caddy's fault, whatever mechanic last serviced the car before I bought it way, way over tightened the lug nuts which warped the brake rotors. Replaced those myself.

>I'm pretty sure a BRZ can't is fit an XL bicycle in the trunk.
Yeah, you'd probably need to remove the front wheel at least. Most people use racks instead

Just wait until the electronics start going bad XD

Visai neblogai dar sakyčiau atrodo. Senienos patinka?

Mines basically done for, and not because it's too expensive to fix, it's just too much work for what it is.

Also, with the 4.0 V6, you can take the wheel well off to get at the plugs.
With the I4, I just used long tools and a grabber.

Had I an actual garage, I might like it more, just because I'd actually have the time and tools to work on it.

Why the fuck do you even have the Starlink app? It's fucking useless.

I'm not sure if the clutch is going or if it's the slave, doesn't seem like the slave.
And I wouldn't mind so much replacing it, but it's the 4x4 and that adds just enough complication for me in my current situation I can't really do it. And it's the only thing preventing me from keeping it.
Only other things are, replacing one of the front calipers, it's running a little lean, and I think the driveshaft may be a little bent, but that's easy enough. Other than that, it's pretty good. Zero rust.

nice weather.

2015 5-Door MINI Cooper S

Like:
>Extremely tight handling, grips the road surprisingly well, and has less body roll than you might think for its shape
>Surprising amount of cargo space, especially with back seats folded down
>Not Fiat 500, Smart, or Classic Mini small, but small enough to make parking and maneuvering through tight spaces easier
>Acceleration is pretty good, turbo lag is almost unnoticeable
>Front interior is pretty well made, seats are comfy, and the A/C is really good

Dislike:
>Backseat doors are near useless with how comically tiny they are, only children could sit comfortably back there
>Shit visibility, b-pillars create big blind-spots and the rear seat headrests block the tiny rear window unless you remove them
>Suspension is very stiff, even lightly worn roads shake the car like a paint mixer
>Any driveways that are too steep will scrape the hell out of the front bumper
>No dipstick, no easy way to change the oil+filter, just generally non-consumer friendly and expensive as all hell

I would recommend either the two-door hardtop for more practicality or the Clubman if you want the extra space for cargo/passengers plus a 4 wheel drive option. Unless you're on a budget in which case, steer clear of MINI entirely.

i learnt to drive in a 5dr cooper D, and have to agree, handling is amazing, and has perfectly weighted steering, perfect pedal feel, but downsides of that handling is the stiff springs, and 3 miles of country single track was enough to make me feel sick, also the visibility is a joke the car should come with a reversing camera as standard, but i could still park it with no issues.
i might need to get my own cooper, when i've paid of my current car.

I got rid of it. it was kinda neat with a few things, but ultimately worthless. Yes.

RB25 is a damn pissant next to the RB26, pretty sad.

Oh no get ready for this, I have an RB20

1987 E30 325i

Pros:
>mah fuckin welded diff bruh
>four doors for doin dumbshit with friends
>SOHC I6 M20
>BEAUTIFUL adjustable suspension setup for drift
>Pretty decent stock interior
>Everything just works nicely
>drives like a fucking sewing machine
>it’s a BMW so family thinks I’m some sort of baller
>BOUGHT A PARTS CAR AND THIS ONE FOR 1.6K
>Built it from the ground up

Cons:
>HOLY SHIT ITS STRAIGHT PIPED (fuck my neighbors)
>Somewhere there’s a bad ground so battery dies if not started everyday
>Sound system is ass, have to do a baby driver cause headphones help
>welded differential means I CANNOT NOT drift
>it’s red :(
>Glove box is gone
>seats are ass...kinda
>Has a small corner dent in the side

Came over from the JDM scene with Nissans, Honda and Mazda, one of the best cars I’ve ever driven, absolutely would recommend to anyone.

2008 W204 C200CDI

>bulletproof engine
>not rounds as shit, looks like the older square mercs I like most
>clean af even with 204k kms
>plenty of umpf for a daily, tuned to 194 HP / 460 Nm
>comfortable ride without being to disconnected from the road

>cheap plasticky interior, cloth everything
>seems to get an awful lot of dents at parking lots
>poor people think I think something of myself for having it
>even after a software update, wash and full service and resetting the 5 speed auto could be better
>less room inside compared to my old W124

I'd recommend it to someone who is looking for a nicer solid DD around the 10k€ mark, but not if maintenance costs are an issue.

Honestly with the aftermarket diff, exhaust, intercooler, and splitfire coils, it rips pretty well. I'll upgrade whenever it decides to blow

I'll admit, I guessed this by your embarrassingly inaccurate weight savings guesses (the premise of a man who has never raced at all)

Please feel free to not post again until you are at least 20

This is bs entirely made up by a bus rider who has never driven a Robin. It's so misinformed I'm surprised they managed that the Rob is a model of Reliant rather than the other way around. Robins fall over all the time. They weigh nothing because they are fibreglass so it is easy to push them back right again.
