>1963 Buick Skylark Sedan
>2006 Mustang V6
my grandmother bought the Buick off the showroom floor of the 1963 World's Fair in Queens, NY and gave it to my dad when he went off to college in the late 70s. he drove that car well into the late 1980s and sold it off to get a modern Subaru or something.
someday id like to hunt it down and find out what happened to his old car but my parents didnt keep any of the paperwork from it so it would be hard to hunt down without the VIN.
however my dad does still have some of the old license plates it was registered to in the 80s, do most states have records going back that far to what car had what plates 30+ years ago?
My father doesn't give a shit about cars and doesn't remember what his first one was, but my mother had a brown Maverick in high school, I don't know if it was 2 or 4 door.
I got a Volvo 242 as my first car, maybe not the best choice but I have no regrets because I'm learning a lot from it.
>57 Chevy 210
>97 Toyota Corolla
I find it a bit amusing that he's 40 years older than me and we were both 6 years older than our cars.
It was literally niggerrigged, he got his money for sneakers and gave them for a car.

>Is that a Trabant?
Yes.
The first car I () remember of his was an Alfa Romeo Alfetta with a broken heater, it was a disaster to own, but was a hell of a car. Or was it a yellow 126p Polski Fiat?
Let's say the Alfa, because it was a lot more cooler.
Nice first car btw.
>126p
I mean the big one; 125p.
it wasn't really my dads first car, my mother got it from her mother and it was a heap of garbage. it was modified for my grandma with MS, the electronics were fucked, it overheated, my grandpa stamped metal over rust and painted it to get it through inspection. I slept really good in it as a baby tho (carbon monoxide). But hey it was a car kinda...
My car is flawless
>dad: 1966 HR Holden
>me: 2002 BA Falcon
