Who here /diesel/?
Who here /diesel/?
>diesel
What a meme.
Enjoy getting shut down in the coming years by your local government.
Leave it to the big gasoline boys, faggots.
diesel belongs in agricultural machinery, not on public roads
>tfw no J79 double cab turbo diesel
>t. Soyboy
>make retarded thread
>gets BTFO'd
>stops answering
>make another thread
Can we stop this cycle? For fuck's sake there are the same shitty threads made by the same butthurt retards over and over.
>faggot who can't admit diesel is inferior
>faggot who can't drive manual
>all of the payload except passengers goes behind the rear wheel
Wew
Projection, the post.
>cost more
>slow
>higher maintenance cost as well
What’s the point.
Fuck off retard or come up with actual arguments. For fuck's sake we keep having shitty threads about diesel come up. Did you already forget the retarded "lightweight diesel sports car" thread?
braap braap motherfuckers. Just dug up a banks kit for it.
This is the first post I’ve made on Veeky Forums in a month. I have no fucking clue what you are talking about.
And diesel sports cars? What the fuck sense does that make?
and since Veeky Forums is apparently fucking buttfrustrated about diesels right now, posting more diesel shenanigans.
fuck these things though.
>JuSt PuLl It WiTh a DiEsEl CaR
What maintenance? You don’t even need to change sparkplugs.
Thanks I will.
>Subaru diesel
>good
Are you meemin?
Aw yiss
What if my truck is more like a tractor than a car?
Here
I wasn't being specific about Subarus.
>SUV
97 12 valve with 330k
I love this truck. She's been my longest relationship. I've been with this truck longer than my wife.
Honestly if I didn't pull a trailer regularly I wouldn't own a diesel. I shake my head at the guy who drives a diesel as a DD and pulls a boat twice a year. Even worse are the guys who lift and run oversized tires.
Don't take this the wrong way, I take my diesel hunting and will throw chains on it to get places I probably shouldn't get to. But I'm not pretending to a off-road machine. A geared down light weight machine will perform tons better than a heavy diesel.
Diesels are better at pulling and longevity. I don't know why else you'd need one
>Diesels are better at pulling
The reason why trucks switched over to diesel instead of gas was for economical reasons. A gas engine with enough enough gear reduction pulls as well, sometimes better than diesels.
At half a mile a gallon though.
Living in 1st world country and using wood like in medieval times instead of air/water or water/water heat pump.
Why is there Japanese writing on it?
If you don't need a diesel truck you probably don't need a truck at all.
I miss driving my old job's Super Duty.
It's not that bad but it is bad enough to really hurt, which is why I stated that it was for economical reasons.
Which if you read the post you would have noticed that.
Yeah? Drive a friggin V10 Ford... literally half mileage for the same amount of fuel as a CAT C7 in a truck that weighs at least 4000 lbs more.
>Modern truly industrial engine Vs something designed to be ok in a passenger vehicle
Its probably a japanese car/truck, as it says DIESEL in Japanese
Source; I drive a diesel Jap
More than half of our cars have only moonspeak on them because they were Japan only vehicles.
I got warnings all over my truck and I got no idea what they say.
The crane at work has Jap instructions and warnings all over it but no one has any idea.
is over there
>Who here /diesel/?
Practicly no, technicly yes.
My engine is multifuel capable, it runs on:
>gas
>diesel(when warm)
>ethanol(requires much choke and special oil)
>acetone(not recomended at all)
>ethylacetate
And this has clearly presented many issues given that it has a cast iron v8 diesel over the front ones....
Yep
Is that the 6.9?
There is literally no advantage to a Diesel engine
Heh

Nothing beats the feeling of sitting in front of a nice fireplace though
