You may or not be right about it being terrible, but how are you too far behind? Even progressed guilds are still hosting pug MC raids, lots of guilds are just starting MC or haven't cleared it even. Turnover in vanilla can be kind of high (especially with the long progression calendar) so guilds are pretty constantly looking to fill in positions.
As far as migration we don't know yet, maybe something with TBC. But realistically that would be some time after Naxx on Anathema and we don't even know how far they are along on their TBC development.

It's basically confirmed that both are huge fags, so yes one of them probably represents what Veeky Forums stands for.

If the server lag/latency is similar to how it was back on nostalrius you can strafe side to side on a mob and face shred it constantly. Shit was absurdly fast to level with.
Get some decent stat stick around 20-25 and throw the strongest +wep damage enchant you can afford, and buy sharpening/weightstones. That stat stick can last you until 60 or until you feel like dropping another enchant on a better stat stick

Yeah i cant decide what to play either. I was thinking I want to play shaman but the only gear set i think is worth wearing for pvp as a hybrid is the AQ set or the pvp set, both of which are super hard to get. Im not really interested in going 100% either melee damage or 100% spell damage. If i wanted to play like that i would just pick a pure class.

i am specced balance on my druid and im in my 20s atm.

I am convinced balance is the best spec to lvl 10-20 but not by much and its really not worth it because the extra speed from cat form at 20 from the feral tree is ridiculously good. Also if you can strafe backstab like that guy said then its really really not worth it to go balance. but im playing meme specs for leveling up because meme specs are about all i find interesting in wow nowadays. So i am sticking to balance until at least the mid 30s. at around lvl 20 the damage from balance spells falls off a cliff and its not as reliable as a form of damage unless you are stacked with int but even then you would still probably have to drink ( i didnt have to drink from 10-20 as balance and still dont drink because anytime i was close to oom i just went bear form and kept pulling until my mana was regened to full)

I leveled a dagger rogue to 60 last time and it was completely aids compared to the times i leveled as combat. next up is a goofy warrior spec that i dont even want to talk about until i try and see if it works.

Prot paladins are far better to have tank, but enhance really can tank low level dungeons. It isn't perfect and the shaman would want to take some talents they wouldn't normally while leveling, but it definitely is doable.
Still, you know, kinda sucks. But works better than a hunter pet and can substitute when you can't get a warrior. Plus they're actually pretty great tanks on casters.
I've seen a shaman tank ubrs but that was wildly overgearing it and doesn't really count.

Sort of irrelevant as no one here is ever going to shaman tank unless they feel like being an obnoxious douche.
Protadins on the other hand can tank any 5man all the way to 60, but except for a few obvious dungeons i'd still prefer a warrior. Again if you can't find a warrior it's way better than waiting around.

Both sides are the same. This game is 13 years old or whatever and most have played both factions to death at this point.
You'll have annoying people on both sides and chill people on both sides.
As far as actual demographics, there appears to be slightly more chinese horde side and it appears worse than it is due to wpvp (and most people here are alliance so they'll notice and remember the chinese guilds ganking them).
Don't trust anyone here with their shitty anecdotal evidence - if there is one thing these threads should display, it's that very few people here know anything about anything.
Avoid Veeky Forums guilds, either faction. Especially Mandate.
