go away faggot
My time to shine
Nice! Yamaha chappy?
1975 CT-90
Oh cool, I've always wanted one.
I rode my friends 110 once and it was really interesting. I kept forgetting there was no clutch and kept reaching for nothing
'71 Ct-90, on the frame at least. It's got an atc125 engine with a vm22 and the detachable headlight from an ATC 250. I'd like to think it's what would have happened if Johnny Cash worked in a Honda factory.
meant for
I'm going to be trading in my R6 for a Honda Ruckus sometime this weekend, after years of riding I realized I just want to be comfy.
Going to get a dual-sport sometime near the end of the year though.
I always wanted a cheap moped to fuck around on but I feel like I'd never have the time/money/brains to do anything myself. That's why I got rid of my '84 Spree
Gonna keep it close to stock or do all that lowering and stretching that everyone loves to do for some reason?
Going to keep it stock, I'm gonna be using it to ride around the city to get food on my days off.
That'll be fun, they are indeed comfy. And depending on where you live, it'll be interesting to have to come up with alternate routes around town to avoid uphills and busy roads (I live in a shitty, hilly suburbia)
They are surprisingly cheap to pickup for now. My '75 ct90 starts on the first kick every time, and the entire mechanics/ electrics are stupidly simple. I't basically a glorified Honda mower engine. I paid $800 for mine, already tagged and titled for street use.
Plenty of sources for parts online as well as good forums and youtube videos to DIY.
So far I've had to replace the brake light switch, replace all the bulbs in the instrument cluster, and install a new horn. Good as new now.
Damn, there are only 2 local results on CL and they're both almost 2 grand. From the map radius, it looks like one of them is literally in my neighborhood
Tbqh I wouldn't pay more than $1500, and that's absolutely mint. There's whole communities for these if you'd like to know what you're in for. My advice would be to get one with an intact airbox, and the spare gas can, if you're into that. Those fuckers cost an arm and a leg each. A sure sign of one that's been hooned is two notches in the back of the front fender where it smacked the nuts on the head. Don't fall for the Boomer tax, these things are shitbikes from a bygone era and should be valued as such.
Does the seat feel good on your vagina?
>/scoot/
>doesnt use scootaloo
u faggots suck im gong back to /dbt/ to discuss my honda pcx 150
First post for raw Chinese performance
>Tfw big bore chink shit will always be faster than my riced out ruckus
Its not fair
>tfw S51
>tfw 17:31 instead of 15:34
85-90 km/h are not bad for a 50cc
don't worry, at least your engine will last more than 30 hours
True
12600mi and counting

We don't need /dbt/ thinking we like scooters AND colorful horses
/dbt/'s hands are a couple of promiscuous words away from being in each other's pants anyways.
> Not sacrificing your crank bearings for the greater good
> Not letting another man's big bore kit give your bearings a pounding.
Anti-cuck.
I ride a supersport now but I had a taotao 50 that hit 60,000 miles. It got stolen
Damn thats impressive for any scooter
What kind of maintenance did you do on the Taotao to help get it that far?
G'day loss
Any of u cnuts know how a 6 wire magneto on a puch maxi really works? Especially the horn? I'd like to upgrade the lights and horn and maybe fit a 6v battery
I had a Tao Tao get stolen as well. Was my first vehicle. I loved that little turd. Had to pay just over $300 to get it out of their yard, and then basically just throw it away. We got the call that it was recovered right after Christmas. My girlfriend at the time called it a Christmas miracle.
I love the look of the ruckus and really want to get one but it's really disappointing that it cant keep up with regular street speeds
this wouldnt be an issue if my suburbs werent infested with uppity redneck assholes and soccer mom cunts who would have zero remorse for turning someone into a pancake, but for the price itd take to buy a used one and swap in a bigger motor you could just have a good used motorcycle
> glorified Honda mower engine.
You know nothing about these engines. Please refrain from commenting on them to preserve any remaining dignity.
Well this is an option
250cc
very hard to find
only a couple stock small rucks in my metro area, along with shitty icebear clones and nig-mode stretched
>not taking a few hours to swap a GY6 in
Triple displacement = good times
>tfw no cheap honda cubs in America
Soon.
it's more cost than time, $1800 used ruckus plus whatever the cost of gy6, brackets, brakes, etc. vs. $1800 for a rebel 250 that accomplishes the same thing
i also hate the stretch look and the only alternative is to jam the intake through the under seat storage area
They will keep going until you get sick of fixing them.
There is a short case 150 gy6 that would look very normal on the ruckus.
What's the least shitty brand of Chinese scooters? Kymco?
Not to mention you'll break down every 50 feet. I ride a ruckus around town and I just take the slow routes and all that stuff. So I feel like it's doable just about anywhere. A friend of mine has ridden his around the US and has 69,000 miles and counting
