remove it?

HOw

Remove spring and remove the valve with screwdriver?

google it, I doubt many people here have worked on a 929 and can give specific advice on how to remove it.
and i'm sure other people online already have posted how. so google is definitely the best place to look. always is.

From what I saw it's speed sensitive but desu info on this car is very limited as there aren't many on the road. hecc, mine is the first saw in 21 years on this earth desu

I figured it'd be throttle sensitive. like when you're a 65% throttle it opens. or it opens more as you increase throttle.
you could always try messing around with it yourself and figuring it out. I personally wouldn't though because I'd be worried about it causing a major problem.

In any case I'm going straight pipe soon so I don't care that much desu. I just wanted more vrooOOM now

>not having a straight through

i actually have no idea, by try taking the tip or the whole muffler out, cutting out the spring and see if you can punch out the flap, or just delete the muffler and do

Ebay N1 muffler straight pipe?

probably cheaper to go to an exhaust shop and get one built.

>having a muffler.
ew

If it's anything like my car, it'll have a switch connected to the ecu controlling some vacuum lines that close the butterfly valve when the car is below a certain RPM. It should default to the open position, at least my car does, so all you should need to do is find the vacuum canister and disconnect the plug.

Ill just make sure the minimum is there legally l0l

Just smash it out with a hammer and cold chisel

Tbh this. If I cant remove it ill hammer it down with my friend

>insert large screwdriver in between top of butterfly and wall
>leave it there forever

well, that was easy.

>gets stopped by police
>he asks why a screwdriver is sticking out of my muffler

why would the police give the slightest bit of a fuck about a screwdriver sticking out of a muffler? if your so paranoid about it shove a stick in the butterfly valve, or a pencil. Literally anything to keep the butterfly open.
