hardscoping an enemy sniper, even when you are going for an easy bodyshot, is a stupid move that ensures death. scoping in first for less than a second can get you killed in a sniper v sniper duel. this is why the classic is largely considered the worst sniper rifle. yes, with a fully charged bodyshot you can kill an enemy sniper, but that's a fully charged shot vs their instantaneous 150 damage at any range. a 1v1 with any sniper with the danger shield is like a 1v1 as a sniper with the classic vs a sniper with any other rifle besides the sydney sleeper. the only way to win is to catch them completely off guard. and even then being forced to scope in leaves you vulnerable. the piece of shit is getting nerfed for a fucking reason and i want it to happen sooner rather than later.
