OffRoad

Why do gringos think they need Jeeps just to go off-road and driving on GROOMED access roads is “wheeling” or “Jeeping” (cringed)

If I had a $100 for every clean rubicon I've seen driving around the suburbs of california, I could buy a rubicon

>they reversed 5ft into shallow water
Wow, you guys must be the toughest offroaders

>Sinaloa
Why aren't you driving a Raptor or a Cheyenne like the narco you probably are?

Amerifat, thatvwas just a car wash sesh
Implying I want to destroy my 2014 z71 Cheyenne

Quien es tu patron? Te voy a decapitar puto.

I much prefer the term "arctic snow nigger"

It's a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand

White people build shit like this to go on smooth dirt and mall parking lots. They're a weird people.

>not sinking the remains of your XP8 in the nearest swap you can find.
Even on bald 31's with open diffs I'm always impressed by 2nd gen Exploders.

Currently drive a 99 4x4 ranger, pic related.

I work as a wildlife Biologist and am in the field daily, though only use the 4x4 every other week or so.

I'd like to get something that holds a few more people for field crews. Is a 4runner or Cherokee the best option? I could go with a 4 door truck like a Tacoma or a Colorado but I like the camper shell for the enclosed area, so I figure the others may be a better fit.

That seats 4-5 uncomfortably, a 4runner or cherokee will seat 4-5 uncomfortably. Tacoma back seats suck as well. Keep the ranger.

>talk to some fag in a newish X-Trail
>"nope we're parking up here, I'd never go down there without a proper offroader"
>watch this

Since this seems like the most appropriate thread right now, I'm looking to get a set of 33's for medium trail but also DD. Our winters are fucking terrible so I have a set of snows to throw on once it starts falling (mandatory here in quebec) so A/T are an option but not necessary. Any recommendations?

my 3rd gen seats 4 people just fine dont listen to

My ranger fits 2 comfortably, I'd feel shitty shoving 2 adults in the back jump seats for over an hour drive.
Gen 3 Tacoma or 4runner?

Just got the 01 250SD today for $1000. everything works just rusty

I just got a 96 tahoe how do i find a place to drive it off road?

>find dirt
>go into it

Just don't get caught trespassing

srry 4runner

I've been waiting like 5 fucking days for an /org/ thank you

Good year wrangler duratracs. Hands down. Super aggressive for an A/T tire. Great in snow, studdable, low road noise. I got 80k out of my last set and just bought another

I'm in northern new Brunswick so we would probably have the same winter conditions

It'll hold ten people if you put them in the bed

The only people that dislike the yj are people that think the cj was Gods gift to the off road world

>Go to the third world
>Take the easiest route to a small village somewhere
>Get stuck

4runner

What would you guys reccomend for a beach truck? Needs to get me and 3 other people 6 hours to the beach with surfboards and backpacks and it needs to be able to drive on the sand when we get there.

Have a budget of around 5 grand, what kinds of things would you guys recommend I look at?

Probably because we're not a savage ghetto people that wreck everything we touch then leave beer cans and spicy cheeto bags in our wake.
Every time I see some Mexicans trashing a river with their garbage-mobiles I call the cops.

Daihatsu F300 or F310. So light they just glide over the sand.

Mexico here si señor
Those are Mexican Americans, I can care less about anything with American behaviors

Why the fuck do Mexicans do that? They go to nice places but they dump trash and dirty nappies and leave the place not nice so it's dirty the next time they visit. Why? All the Mexican beaches I've seen were covered in litter.

You're gonna need a 30 foot lift on that Ranger, Carlos

Make one then, you absolute prey animal.

What all did you end up pulling off that rusty POS?

I always thought those Saleen Explorers were sweet.

Benz isn't American. Not even in the Americas.

Everything saleen specific, the body kit, hood, spoiler, swaybars, interior bits, cluster, hell I sold the recaros alone for more then I paid for the thing.
Looking back at it, I should have kept it all, bought a nice rust free 2nd gen and made a clone, but I have enough projects as is. It's still sitting in the woods with a broken knuckle currently, I'll probably pull the 5.0 and scrap the rest some tiime this year.

falken wildpeak at3/w. 3pms rated. i do a lot of city and highway with them. slight hit to mileage, slightly louder than highway terrains i had on before, all around real happy with them. they throw dirt, debris, gravel, etc. like a motherfucker though.

>Good year wrangler duratracs
These are great
I'm also partial to BFG All Terrain T/As and General Grabber AT2's

>Tfw I winched some stupid unprepared beaner in a shitty 2wd Chevy out of a rut just last weekend
