The fact that even small glimpses of concubine war is locked behind supports really hurts Camilla. I genuinely think she is an interesting character that was extremely underdeveloped.

I think the relationship between Lyn and Hector hurts Eliwood and Lyn a lot more than it hurts Hector though. Eliwood feels like a third wheel in the trio and Lyn doesn't get to have any relevance besides having tensions with Hector.

I personally think Lyn's tale is very well-done and heart-warming. It's actually my second favourite part of FE7 story-wise, after the famous story about Nino. Zephiel's story is great but you need to read the manga to see more of it.

Also I definitely agree that Hector's impulsiveness should be explored more. Though he is still the only well-written non-idealistic and competent Lord in the series.

You earn points each time you attempt them. They're a series of maps you complete in order until you beat the final map. You're allowed more than one team in case your first/second etc team wipes.
To get the most points, you need to clear the maps fast (low turn count) and while losing as few teams as possible, while also including a bonus character. Bonus characters get stat boosts and increase your score by 20 or 40%. Your first 2 attempts each day are worth triple points as well.
You earn rewards by getting enough points for them. They usually include Seals, a character you can only get from the Trial (like Tobin or Clive) and orbs/feathers.

Pick a difficulty.
All cost the same stamina (I think?).
Clear a number of maps based on difficulty.
Units progress through the maps with their special count and hp.
If you lose you get extra teams (depends on difficulty?).
Clear or lose, get points.
Get more points for speed, survival (not losing and switching to another team) and using a bonus unit.
Rewards are earned by obtaining points.
Ranks are by comparison to other players' points (I think?).
Get feathers based on rank.
Rewards vary from crystals to orbs to a seal to copies of a specific unit.

Checking out the names and builds of people in the gauntlet is more fun than the gauntlet itself.

If you're running hone fliers / a lot of goad fliers, desperations pretty good.

You can get a 4* version of the character without too much difficulty. The seal might take a bit of work. The important thing is you form teams that can quickly clear levels. If you can clear all the levels with one team, that's great. Otherwise, have a team that can get through as many levels as possible, and a team that can attempt the final map.

One thing to note, if you wipe out on a map, the damage done to enemies is kept, and dead enemies stay dead. So you can suicide rush a map and as long as you damage them/they don't have healers you'll have an easier time.

tl;dr it's not hard if you plan your shit out

+Atk Rein is one of the most gamebreaking units.
+Atk Lilina is pretty good. Probably want to go Blade or Raven for her though.
-Def Amelia might hurt but she likely has decent enough def to still be useful. Maybe not enough for Bonfire though.
