Csgo has almost none of the original community spirit.

There are still fun servers out there, like deathrun, slide, party games, zombies, jailbreak etc, it's just they aren't anywhere near as popular as before. Gungame is essentially dead, and surf is now an autismal shell of its former self, filled servers of screeching children trying to copy their favourite streamer or YouTuber play time-attack surf a few times, talking amongst themselves as they mindlessly try to beat their previous shitty times.

Nothing. The days of old are over. Nobody is creative anymore. Source, 1.6 and GO havr small communities still going, but it's now like the quake autists. People who just have fun are gone. So, I've not been able to play mm at all for like a month now, every game I manage to connect to sees me at 200+ ping. This is annoying considering I got below 90 at the very least previously.
Anybody got any advice I guess... similar experiences? I tried the old cmd, ipconfig /release and renew trick, but it didn't seem to do much. Is this an ISP thing? I live in Northern Greece for the sake of clarity and have like a 8mbps connection. I'm only asking because at this point I think I might drop the ball and quit this fucking game if I don't fix this shit soon.

Find out your ping to normal servers in your area, and if your speed has been affected, additionally check your service status through your ISP.
If ping seems ok, try a tracert to google or something, see if you have packet loss etc.

If your ping to normal servers is fine, try the net_steamclient_datagram_override 1 command, it could just be the direct connection to valve servers causing issues.

Then you have clearing corners by taking wide angles in the open,
Approaching site by walking up the middle of the stairs,
Tying in with that, peeking site by using W, instead of hugging the wall and checking angles before you put yourself in the open. The terrorist could have just done a fake and gone for the kill, considering he knew where you were.

Anywhere. Death run servers are the least autistic, people still have fun on them and don't need to invent drama on the mic to enjoy themselves. Jail break has become less fun, more authoritarian autistic children, less normies, party/mini/multigames have all died when I live, no servers at all.

Party/mini/multi games were usually games similar to deathrun, teams vs each other and try to whittle the enemy team down through creative methods, such as vid related. 2 terrorists are chosen to fire rock cannons at ct's jumping around on unstable platforms. The people that survive or escape are the ones who fire the cannons next round.

There were loads of different game types, but there is basically nothing on youtube that actually shows any of the fun shit, they are all a sad bunch of youtubers playing in groups of 4 talking to each other, rather than a packed server.
