To explain better, I have no idea how to script so i'm just editing over existing animated textures and the borders between each frame aren't that clear.

use gimp, the plugin creates the correct script for you. alternatively look up llsettextureanim to see what the parameters mean

So if you want to upload audio that's longer than 10 seconds, what do you do? Do you just chop it up and upload it in pieces, wouldn't that be inefficient as fuck?

Put your loop in audacity, find the custom bitrate thing in the track menu, input a custom value.
1-10s 44200 (DEFAULT)
10-20s 88400
20-30s 72000 project bitrate / 144000 track bitrate (20-30 SECOND RANGE) // extremely poor quality ahead capt'n
30-40s 96000 project bitrate / 192000 track bitrate

Essentially you take the rate in 20-30s, and add 24000 twice, then for every bump past the 20s range you half the value you have and apply it to the project rate.

Now export as an ogg vorbis file (ogg) with all of the default settings in audacity, don't mess with any of the quality sliders.
Upload it to secondlife using the bulk uploader
