It's a code language vastly superior to anything we have today. The thought that it "evolved" from exploding stars is such absolute rubbish that you would have to want it to be true to believe it.

Dawkins could try to make the argument that atheism has some unknown long term growth potential, but he'd have nothing to justify it with.

Otherwise the dominant social orders would be atheistic instead of religious, which they are not.

DNA is the information stored within the cells of the body.

But on a certain level I agree that the presence and genetic uniformity of life on earth seems counter intuitive, and cannot really be explained by "lol lipids were floating around in a warm pool one day and then congealed into a bubble, which then started dividing and multiplying for no reason".

The confounding factor here is that poverty leads to high fertility, and muslim countries are predominantly poverty-ridden shitholes barely worth your time, whereas countries with high instances of atheism tend to be more developed.

1) You are forgetting that Dawkins outside of being atheist is also a proponent of memetics, which is basically what he's saying here
2) You are misunderstanding the meaning of the word 'purpose' in this context, it's not purpose in the philosophical way but purpose in the way of 'what it ends up working towards' it's the same sense of purpose as evolution has (survival) it is a common misconception that this is supposedly necessarily 'good', this misconception lead to social darwinism among other things

The DNA of our somatic cells take damage as it replicates over and over again, eventually leading to dying cells which is what ages us.

In order for our DNA to pass on, it must then be passed on before our DNA decay is complete.

This is an incredibly depressing thought to me. That we are just a storage of information in what seems to be a fruitless pursuit of continued life.

The only "dilemma" is that we know that smarter people tend to procreate less. But it's not really a dilemma since dumb people enjoy life more anyways.
