The one thing that changed bewteen sky and coldsteel and still makes no sense to me inuniverse is the orbments.
They went from the less lines the better to more lines are what you want. Long lines still give more MP but otherwise they are just inferior.
You would think such a radical change in how you set up your orbment would be all the talk in certain circles even with the Arcus being a still in testing device.

Rixia does make a comment on it in CS 2, about how the Arcus feels more combat focused, but she misses being able to have a million arts available thanks to sepith count.
