if i don't have to deal with too many hassles with the registration stuff (in THEORY i should be good since it's 30+ years old and can be registered as a collector car without going through a homologation process) and it's at least half-driveable on the highway this MAY be at the Nürburgring this july.
>this MAY be at the Nürburgring this july.
it'd be there as a support truck for the 25+ people who will be with me though. there's NO WAY this thing will get on the ring with a 550cc engine. the twingo was already pushing it.
>Kei trucks are useless besides what they were made to do
What did he mean by this?
People have gone round on 50-150cc scooters
50cc is not allowed on the ring AFAIK and for good reason
if you've ever driven there, you'll know why.
there are people driving porsche GT3 RS's at 100%. and the ring has some very, very steep long inclines. i'm not gonna be driving 50kph flatout in a tiny truck while other people are driving 250+
i'm pretty stupid, but not THAT stupid
and this year's MASSIVE crash at the ring caused by someone leaking fluids, and the resulting insurance nightmare has kinda put a damper on my enthusiasm to drive shitboxes all-out on that track

my friend who rolled over 7 times in his civic type R had already calmed me a bit, but now i think i'd rather just do passenger rides and BBQ at brünnchen until i have a sorted out car that's actually ring ready.
pic is me 3 years ago driving the ring in my POS manta (that i love)
a cute
I saw one of these driving around my neighborhood the other day and instantly got jealous
