I played a lot in BC and some in Wrath. Friends convinced me to come back for the Legion Sale.
End game content is so... generic.. now.
They set thresholds on what content you can do based on your ilvl. They hold your hand through all of the dungeons. All of the bosses are just tank and spank, stay off the bad. Literally questing my character to 110 in the zones was more fun than the diet, low calorie bullshit end game has become.

So more and more circumstantial evidence is coming out that either a semi revamp to Azeroth is coming or its setting up that possible leaked expansion info from a few weeks ago.

Troggs and Yetis were updated for the first time since 2004 and it was an undocumented change for 7.3,Demons and Naaru also got updated. Gallywix was updated to his Cataclysm art model from 2010 in 7.2(before that he was a generic goblin with tophat) and went largely ignored. Confirming really that Goblins will play a role in the next expansion. South Seas confirmed. We know at a 90% certainty now that N'zoth is gonna be part of it thanks to all the Legion hints and mentions aswell as foreshadowing of events to come from Ilgynoth. I'm curious if the leaker was right.

Also Goblin and Worgen(especially the female) update when? The fact they'd rather update NPC's than PC model makes me bitter. Worgens need a full blown model remake rather than revamp. The clipping issues,visuals and animation problems are huge.

We are totally giving our artifact weapons back in the new expansion and rumors are flying the Netherlight Crucible in Week 3 is a dummy run for a new weapon crafting mechanic in the next expansion that blends Light and Void powers in the same way Timeless Isle was a dummy run for the mechanics and features we now take advantage of.

I'm curious now if every artifact weapon has a conversation with a lore character that is relevant to class in 7.3.

Revamped Northrend years after the defeat of the LK and all the stuff we did in WotLK has made a major visual and aesthetic impact on the continent such as that keep we built for the Argent Crusade in Icecrown but never saw at Plagueholme? It could be phased over the current map with the additions of the Azjol Nerub empire subterranean zones(3 zones) which was the original plan for WotLK before it was scrapped due to time and budget.

For those level 120's that want to return to the old Northrend for rep farming,transmog etc. They could place a bronze dragon NPC at the starting zones main factional bases to transport them back in time similar to what they did with Theramore and Blasted Lands.

It's not a queue like the broken isle invasion scenarios if that is what you mean, but it does automatically funnel players of your faction into your phase. Not sure what the limit is but we had like 60 people in one of them.
